I just booked this cruise. It will only be me and the babies as we call them; DS (3.5) and DD (2.5). This is not our first cruise or that of the babies and I admit I have a bit of an addiction to cruising DCL, that and chocolate. It is our first on the Dream. DH and DS 14 will be heading home from Orlando after a few days there. DH said he will only do two cruises a year and is bowing out of this last minute trip that I have added on to our Orlando trip. We did the MR in January and are set to be go again in Sep, but I am not so sure if that will work out, it depends on my new business by then.

I digress. So, here I am taking two wild babies all by myself who love DCL. I apologize to everyone in advance and hope we get a table by ourselves. I am taking two weeks at the end of May to Hong Kong and Vietnam for my MBA degree that is almost complete (counting the days actually). I am not excited about the international trip in the least because of leaving everyone, especially the babies. So the international trip is another reason/excuse for me to justify this cruise by saying it provides quality time together with no cooking or cleaning to take away, only our time together and a little working on a business plan.

More than you all need to know, but HI! It was great reading up on people. I hope to meet up with some of you.

So how are all of the plans going for you guys? I worked myself silly all weekend on the FE gifts! My daughter thinks I am out of control but I am having fun! Oh my, next Sunday we will all be able to say we are going NEXT MONTH. That just makes it seem so much closer to me. Back to work tomorrow...I have PILES AND PILES to get done in the next month. Don't mind me...just a little rambling here.

Fish Extender update:

Sue and I will be making the FE hanger pocket things this week. And when I say we I mean I'll be picking fabric from her quilt stock and then watching her do all the work. I'll bring her tea and make sure the TV is tuned to "Law and Order".

I'm still in the supply assembly stage.....got a little cranky at Michael's yesterday when they didn't have the ribbon I wanted. Will be setting up a little sweatshop in the dining room when I've got everything ready to go!

Anyone post those Navigators yet?

We aren't in KC but we are VERY close to Olathe...about 20 miles tops. I hope you have a great spring break. It has been BEAUTIFUL weather here this weekend, 80 and sunny. Perfect for a spring break. But, we are expecting a bit of rain this week...hopefully not as much as last week, it rained every day Mon-Fri! That is when my grandkids were on spring break. Too bad we can't get Kate & Nathaniel together while you are here. That would be pretty cool so they actually have met before the cruise. Have a safe trip from Chicago!

I was chatting with the DH and thought...why not meet you in Olathe this week and introduce Kate & Nathaniel. It would be kind of fun to meet someone we will be traveling with. If you are intested just let me know when it would work. I work till 5 each day so it would be about 6 before we could get over there. We could meet at the Great Mall or a restaurant. I friend requested you on facebook if you want to be able to chat about it. If it doesn't work no problem, but it might be fun.

I haven't seen any Navigators posted yet but I hope they will be soon.

I have been working on my FE gifts and I really hope to get them all done soon. I have one homemade gift done and about 4 others that I have started. Don't know why I can't finish one project before I start the next one. LOL

Cathie, I am doing the same thing. I keep flitting from one project to the next. I think I have actually completely finished one of the things for the FE, and I'm half done with 2 more. It will be so much fun!

I have to say, I didn't think I could get much more excited about our trip and cruise, but after meeting Denise, Kate & Pat tonight I am REALLY looking forward to this cruise. It will be great to meet all of the rest of you Dis friends, and hopefully spend more time with our new friends! Thanks for coming to visit Denise, Kate & Pat!
