90 Days out today All you silver castaway club members remember to finish your online-checkin docs! I did mine this morning about 5am. My time slot is 11-11:30 and unfortunately all the private cabanas were booked On a positive note though, that means more money for souvenirs!

Yay! I am super excited for the cruise I want to start packing now

We are super excited here as well. Friday is my daughters birthday (she will be 4) and since we took our May Cruise on the Dream last year, not a week (probably not a single day) has gone by when she has asked when we are going back to the "Mickey boat" Friday we will surprise her with the news we are going back again this year in just a couple months.

Inside the smallest piece is a paper chain for my daughter with fun Disney facts. One per day till departure day.

I sorted through all the goodies that I have been buying for all the kids and I think I have enough stuff for everyone in the group so far. I've also started on my homemade items. I still need to pick up a couple of things I want to get for the adults but I am in pretty good shape. I am hoping to get it all done early so I can send a box to the ship.

How is everyone else coming along with their gifts?

How funny...we also took a cruise last May on the Dream and the 4 grandkids that went last year are SO EXCITED to be going back. Also, one granddaughter that is going this year will be turning 4 on Monday. She can hardly wait too! What a wonderful dad/husband you are to plan such great surprises. I with my dh would buy me that luggage! What cruise were you on last May? We were on the 12th-15th.

I've purchased a few things but I have to get SERIOUS about my planning now. I have too many ideas that I would like to use! Decisions Decisions!

I have tons of ideas too. And after reading the FE gift threads, I get more ideas. Right now I have about 8 homemade items that I will be making. I've started on 2 of them and have the materials already for most of them. Just need the time to work on them. They are fun though and helping to pass the time until the cruise.

A friend is making our FE so I need to get the fabric for it soon.

I haven't seen any new sign ups lately so we may not get any more.

I've started giving them part of their allowance in US funds to save for the trip

I've got a box going with odds and ends so far, and tons of pictures on my phone for ideas...I'm afraid to do too much though until the list is "final"...

Has anyone booked an excursion yet? I haven't booked anything yet but want to go to Atlantis. I'm not sure if I will book through Disney or do it on my own. I'd love to hear what everyone is doing. Maybe some are going on the same excursion.

I updated the FE with the names that were added recently!

We didn't book any Atlantis excursions. We did the deep water swimming with the dolphins last year and loved it...maybe next time?!?

We did book 2 small excursions on Castaway Cay - the Seahorse Snorkel Catamaran and the Castaway Rays Stingray Adventure. We are really looking forward to both excursions. Last year we had a storm rolling in on our CC day so all excursions were cancelled.

Honestly, I haven't started my FE gifts yet. Everyone seemed to like our ideas on the last cruise so we are thinking about doing something similar. I already bought bags for it.

Our family did both of those CC excursions last year (May 2011). We all loved the stingray adventure although the snorkeling to look at the stingrays wasn't fantastic, but the feeding them was a lot of fun. The Seahorse snorkel was much preferred by my family over the snorkel excursion they had in Nassau, but I struggled with the waves that day and just ended up on the boat. The rest of the family thought it was pretty good though.

We are thinking about doing the Castaway Rays Stingray Adventure as well and hopefully Atlantis if it is not full yet.

Does anyone know if any of the bikes to rent for kids at CC have training wheels?

Does anyone think we are going to get more sign ups? Still have a month left but want to know if I should expect more.

Welcome Tiago. We haven't started any kind of special fb or web page for the FE or the group. If anyone wants to start one it might be nice. How many people are on FB? I'm willing to get a basic FB page going if there is interest.
