I saw the online facebook group. How does that work??? Just ask to join it? You don't have to be friends with everyone on it right? (I am leery with some facebook things since my account was hacked last year.)

Yes... for the Facebook group, you would just request to join the group via Facebook. You do not need to be friends with anybody in the group to have access.

I saw earlier that you could not locate your Castaway Club ID numbers. If you go to the Disney Cruise website and begin the booking process for a cruise... you'll get to a point where it will ask you for your Castaway Club ID number. There is a link you can click which will allow you to find them. Once you find the ID numbers, you can quit the booking process. It doesn't require any additional information, so there is no 'hold' on the booking.

I'd post it here, but when it's clicked from an outside source... it doesn't bring you to the same page.

I followed your directions and was able to find the number, thanks!

However I wasn't able to log in with it. I think the reason is my travel agent didn't have my brithdate so she put it in as Jan 1st. That isn't the same birthday used on when we booked last time. I think that is the issue. I send her an email about it. I hope she fixes it soon. Not sure if it is something I can change myself.

When I did online check-in today it said Pirate Night was our Day at Sea (Tuesday). Hope that helps!

I saw that too, I did speak with DCL and my travel agent did as well and we were both told that the website is incorrect and our pirate night will be Day 2-Nassau. I am not sure why they can't get this straight, it makes planning very confusing. We might not know for sure till we get on the boat, oh well by then we won't care

Wow...my family and I are cruising for the first time and just discovered this forum. What a neat idea. We would love to be part of this FE group and have enjoyed reading other posts to help with our experience. My DH is Kevin, DD is Anna (5) and DS is Jameson (3). We are in room # 7130 and traveling with our very best friends and their kids too. Let the Disney mania begin!

I didn't reserve anything on the ship, but booked Atlantis Aquadventure and Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure. I hope they are both fun.

I was hoping to get Palo Brunch as well... but that doesn't seem likely. We were able to book a couples massage at the spa on the Nassau day... and then we have booked a couple of excursions at Castaway Cay:

Seahorse Catamaran Snorkel Adventure @ 9:30am
Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure @ 2:00pm

Otherwise... I think we're going to be spending a good deal of time in the adult pool area at the bar during the day, and in the clubs at night while the kids enjoy themselves in the clubs.

I updated the FE list to include your family. Welcome to the group!!! We took our 1st cruise last year on The Dream and loved it. I was so anxious the days leading up to the cruise but I have to say, we had an absolute blast and I hope you will too.


As far as excursions, we booked the Castaway Ray Stingray adventure for the entire family and Seahorse Snorkeling adventure for just CY and I.

Last year, we did the deep water swim with the dolphins at Atlantis and absolutely loved it. I definitely recommend it and I am glad I was able to check the experience off my "bucket list".

This is our 3rd cruise but first with Disney!

My name is Kim(28), husband is John(32), Jake(4) and Ava(10months)

We don't have a room number yet....how does that work exactly with the FE?

Jake loves coloring, music, pirate things etc. Ava doesn't know what she likes yet


My brother is also registering: Bobby(23) and Christen(21). His room is GTY....not sure what that means exactly.....? This is Christen's first ever cruise!

Another question, I have seen home made gifts that are larger, how do those fit in the FE or do they?

Super excited for this cruise!! What a neat concept (FE!!) If anyone has any tips to pass along to first time disney cruisers, I'm all ears! My husband just died laughing at how corny that last line was. Hahahah

We booked Palo for dinner, and a Cabana. Tried to book manicures but couldn't get times lined up, so were skipping it. I spent all the manicure money on the FE! hehe

Greetings.

My wife and I will be on this Cruise. This will be my first cruise and my wifes first cruise since she went on The Big Red Boat with her family back in the late 80's. We will be in an aft cabin 10664.

Me- Jon 43 new Disney Lover. First trip to Disney World was when I was 41. Now we are DVC members and go 3 times a year. This will be my 6th trip staying at the BWV before and after the cruise.

Wife- Kelly a Disney fanatic since she was young. She actually dragged me down to Disney the first time and talked me into the cruise.

We live in Massachusetts so it will be nice to get away. We also requested membership on the FB cruise page. Seeing as this is our first cruise we will not be participating in the FE gift swap. We are overwhelmed enough it does look like fun though.

Hi everyone. How is everyone coming on the FE gifts? I just gave fabric to my friend on Sunday who will be making our FE. I haven't bought any gifts in a while and think I will wait another 2 weeks until the list is final so I know what I need. I have a few home made items that I need to get working on though.
