May 6, 2007 - 4 night Wonder

That was actually for a medical emergency - not sure if they'd change b/c of rain. You never know though! Thank goodness we're half way through today. :yay:

That wasn't mentioned the other day when I looked. Thanks for updating reason.

Here is an email I just sent to DH about what is left to do. :cool1:  :dance3:

Clean the girls and put them to bed,
I need to clean up more around here,
Finish packing few last things.
Watch grays,
sleep a few hours.
Wake up, shower, pack up car, drive to airport, check in, get on airplane, take off, watch a few DVD's, land, get on DME, and there we are.:yay:

Man I am geeked.

Now that they are here we are assured a safe trip and I will not have any asthma troubles!!! popcorn:: popcorn::

Now if only my new glasses would have arrived on time also.

Your new dress came in too! :rolleyes1

Timber, that works for me!

Cindy, I had to delete your smiles, because with mine it went over the smile limit. Who knew we had one? :scared1:

Sounds like everyone is good to go! :woohoo:

I swear I'm taking my suitcases out tonight.

Please let tomorrow go fast.

And for whoever is leaving tomorrow - BE SAFE, and see you there!

Bethzfl - you haven't started to pack yet???:scared1: :scared1: I would be freaking if we hadn't started on Monday. Of course I am actually being the anal one on how much of what and what fits where! But now I am on "baby duty" and DH has taken over the final packing details. We leave the house tomorrow at 6:30 am. I don't know how my DSIL (DisneyPhD) is be ready to leave house by 5:00am. I just couldn't do it this trip!!:headache:

NOPE, not a single item!!! :sad2: :sad2: :confused3 :confused3

I do have things already purchased though. It's just a matter of putting it all in a suitcase. We're doing it tonight, though. And I don't leave until Sat morning (we live in FL).. so hopefully we'll be okay!

I was going through DH's clothes and started to freak out.. all he owns are khaki shorts and jeans. I did a quick search though and found out jeans are more than acceptable now for cruise casual night so I feel better. He definatley does have nice clothes for Tritons and dress up night (which is our Palo night anyway).

Well, I'm off to start! If I don't post in 3 hours.. start worrying :scared1: :rotfl:

5:00? 4:15 am baby. :cool1: :scared1: Our flight leaves at 6:40. I can never sleep much the night before anyway, so it seems to work for us. Now if I could just sleep on the plane all would be good.

At least DH is home now and his grades turned in. He loves leaving right after the semester, so the students can't contact him and complain about their grade.

How do you know that you PALO night is the Triton night?

Bethzfl wrote she had clothes for the dress-up night (which is the 2nd night) and the night at Triton's (which she may have called DCL - I have heard sometimes you can get that info ahead of time). She must have made the Palo reservation for Mon night.

Dress up night is usually your second night, Monday night, and yes, that's the night I booked Palo. My friend said for Tritons people dress a tiny bit nicer than the other 2 restaurants, it's not required, they just do. That's why he brought a semi-dress up outfit. I'm not sure what my rotation will be - I did request TPPA, though.

We finally packed after midnight last night and our children woke us up at 6:00am as they were soooo excited. (Literally bouncing off the walls... err.. I mean the beds). Flight leaves at noon EST so we shall hopefully see everyone on the boat.

Wishing everyone safe travel.

Anybody else home yet? We made it home safely last night, with a pretty non event flight home. How was the trip for everyone else? :cool1:

I posted a reply on stay cool. It won't tell you that I got home safely (We did) but will give you an indication of our trip.

Did I see you there? Were you the nice couple that played the harmonica to get my girls to smile while I was trying to take their picture? I saw Lesley a number of times and ktstewart a few times. I should look in my picture back grounds and find everyone else. Is anyone else going to write a trip report? I have been suffering from IBS sytoms since being on the cruise and need to stay close to home. It isn't fun. Hopefully things should be back to normal soon.

We have not made it home yet!! Some of my DH family lives in Tallahasse and his cousin got married yesterday (Saturday) and our DD was the flower girl in the wedding! We are going to dinner tonight with his grandparents for Mother's Day and then we are getting on the road tomorrow for an 8 hour trip home!!

Did everyone have a great time on their cruise? I know it was the first cruise for a lot of us on this board, was it everything you hoped? It more than exceeded my expectations and DH. He was excited about going but not as excited about it as me. He had cruised before on his senior trip (7 days to Cozumel, Grand Caymen, and Jamaica) and he thought, wow a Disney Cruise, this ought to be fun!! (very sarcastically) Now he cannot wait to rebook another one!! He has been on the computer here in our hotel looking at all the different dates to sail next year. I had to stop him from booking one on the boat! He had a really great time and I think surprised himself that a Disney Cruise could be so much fun!! He thought it was going to be geared more towards kids and that adults would be left out. But his exact words were "Disney really has perfected their cruise, they made it kid friendly just enough for the kids to have fun, and elegant enough for the adults!!" My response was, "Of course, it's Disney"! Before the cruise, my DD and I were the Disney finataics, now, we are a Disney Finatic Family!! Is anyone else thinking of doing another one next year? We are looking at doing 2 days at Sea World, 4-Day Cruise, then 3 days in Disney World!! I am hoping to be on the cruise next year for my DD Birthday!! Well, I could sit here and go on and on about Disney, but I have to get ready for dinner!! Looking forward to hearing from everyone!!
Lesley
