I am looking forward to this trip as well (I have a trip counter as a screen saver) however it is our (me, DD [9], DD [13]) first cruise so I have many questions, but I will start off with these; how formal is formal? Do I need a three piece or just a suit jacket, tie and pants?
A regular church/job interview suit is fine for formal night, though we did see plenty of men break out the tuxes. On our last cruise it was about 30% tuxes, 60% regular suits, and 10% "other" (everything from a sportcoat and nice slacks to jeans).
I would totally agree on that last post..
PearlieQ, 45lbs? Congrats! How are you doing it?
I am enjoying trip reports and such..Totally getting me excited about our upcoming trip
Thanks! Just doing it the old fashioned way--trying to eat better and working out. I spend a lot of time on the WISH boards--they're a great group. Very helpful and supportive!
I've got a long way to go, but the cruise definitley motivates me! I'm going to treat myself to a new dress, so I look forward to losing more so I look great in it!
I'm having fun with the trip reports as well! Barb's got new 7 night Western navigators up on her site--I had lots of fun going through those!
which website is that? i want to look! I am so proud of you. We are both trying to lose weight before babies start coming...Let me know how your dress shopping comes.!
Is barbs ************ or dcl tribute?
amy
Us too! Though I'm just trying to make it through the holidays at this point without gaining anything back!
I think you've got Barb's site right. It get starred out because she's a TA. Since Dreams Unlimited sponsors the cruise boards they prefer not to have other TA websites listed. PM me if you have a problem finding it, but it sounds like you know where to go. The last time I looked she hadn't updated the front page to say that the navigators are new, but if you actually click on the "Navigators" section you'll see the ones from their cruse last week.
Everything looked like so much fun! I'm so stoked!!!
We will be celebrating our fifth year in October. We will be going back to Williamsburg where we had our honeymoon. Should be really nice...I cant wait to get on the boat
Hello Wheaton! Montgomery is about 20 minutes west of you, straight down I-88. We're just west of Aurora, if that helps. It's one of the newer areas of development, so most people aren't familiar with it.
Wheaton is very nice--very convenient to everything and plenty to do. I'm glad you're enjoying it here. Where did you move in from?
