Happy Tuesday! Only three more stressed out days to go! The to-do list just keeps getting longer. Working on one of them now: Clean house so when sister comes to feed fish she doesn't think we live like pigs. My husband thinks I'm neurotic and you know I think he's right. I'm like stalking UPS to find out where my dress is so I have something to wear for the semi-formal whatever dinner? I agree, why the heck do we care what we wear for people we are never going to see again? Husband disagrees, I think he's completely excited not to see his wife in jogging pants and t shirts. I'm just happy that I'm going away and get to sleep in a bed that I don't have to make and eat a meal that I didn't have to cook or clean up. I'm a stay at home mom and I don't get out much. And since this is my first vacation in five years, I'm just a little excited. Just wondering, by the grace of god I booked a ressie for Palo for the first night, and now I just read that there is no child care in the Club or Flounder's because they do an open house for parents. Is this true?

My room looks like a suitcase factory exploded, but I have absolutely NO organization there. I have just been pitching stuff in the suitcases as I think of it. I'll have dh repack them on Thursday. He's a pro at making stuff fit in suitcases.
So now I have 1 very large one and 3 smaller ones packed, along with many empty ones scattered about. Oh, and I will be the one loading the suitcases. I am the pro at making stuff fit in the car, plus there is no way I'm letting DH hurt his back again.
I am also a SAHM and live in work-out type clothing and a baseball cap. DH will be thrilled to have me looking finer than usual. My boys saw me trying on my black formal dress and said "wow mom, you look beautiful, like a princess!" - they are 5 yrs old, it was so sweet.
It really, really stinks when everytime I go on vacation I have sit with my boss and go over everything I do ( for the one millionth time) and he still doesn't get it
Rant done - I'm just alittle stressed out, too much to do. On to nicer things

Oh well - I'll be the one with 8 long nails ands two little stubs!

to relish for years to come.

Now I don't feel quite as guilty taking him out of school for a week.
