May 5th Celebration

Who's planning to be at disney the week of May 5th?

We are there May 5 - 11. (I didn't know about the May 5 thing - I may have reconsidered the date if I had known. I hope I don't get hit with major crowds....)

we will be there, may 3 to the 13 I just hope its not crazy busy I don't care if the kindom is as my kids were not thrilled much with the rides there just hope the rest of the parks are ok

We will be at WDW April 29th to May 3rd. On the 3rd we head over to Vero Beach until the 6th. I hope we will miss some of the crowds (if there are many) that way.

We went to Vero Beach last year the 1st week of May and it was so nice we thought, lets go again this year, but spend some time at WDW too.

I am looking forward to many of the things that were under rehab or not open yet being open when we get there in May. So many things were closed when we were there in Feb.

We will be! Coming on the 3rd, leaving on the 6th. Not much time, but it's free (won a contest from my radio station!) so I can't really complain .

We will be there from April 27th thru May 8th....but only the 6th-7th in the main parks after the start of the celebration.

5th is Typhoon Lagoon, and 8th is half shopping/half travel day.

We'll be there May 7-15. I didn't know about the celebration when I made our SOG reservations a year ago. I think we may concentrate on playing golf on the 7th and 8th and not venture out to the parks until Monday the 9th. Call me chicken, but the thought of huge crowds isn't too appealing? I do know tha tI am glad we have PS for at least on meal a day. We'll probably rely on the SOG restaurants for all other meals.

I'll be there. Four of the ladies from our neighborhood are having lunch there that day so we can watch the goings on.

We will be there the 6-10. It is our first trip and when I planned it I thought I had picked a good week. Now with the talk of the crowds I am not so sure. We will make the best of it and I am sure the kids will have a blast!

I'll be there May 7th-20th with a whole bunch of my family! I can't wait but am a little worried about the crowds.

Well we aren't going until may 11th and we are staying tot he 16th .. but we had no idea about the 50th celebration either hopefully the crowds won't be to bad! but it will be a blast anyway!

We are arriving on the 5th, but very late at night so technically our vacation starts the 6th. I had no clue about the celebration when my DH picked that week for vacation.

Okay, I know I am really far behind in the goings on at Disney..
But we will be there May 8-18th..What is going on the 5th of May, and that would explain the rooms being so full..

Hey Erika,

Loved your show on the travel channel. Hope to run into you and your family while we are down there will have lime green ribbons on the stroller. Will be staying at SOG so maybe we will met on the monoril sometime. Have a great trip.
