May 5th 2007 Western Magic CINCO DIS MAYO!

I may like it, but my DS and DH would kill me playing it over and over again. Thanks for the offer though!

I've also read a million times how to send something to the ship, but never took the time to write it down. I'm going to go out and get another piece of luggage!

LOL!

I just borrowed a piece of my parents' new luggage. We bought it for them for Christmas and its just like mine. So I get to break it in. I could borrow more BUT that would put me over the airline's limit:scared1:

Thanks for the Travel Channel heads up. And Sherrie thanks too.

BTW, for anyone who needs to ship, I found the info in the FAQ sticky. I don't know how I missed it the first time I looked.

And for anyone that doesn't have a Passporter, here's a 2005 allears online 88 page DCL guide. I read through it just for a refresher. A lot of things have changed, but it will give you with small kids an idea of what's they do in each group.

Hey there fellow cruisers.....

Just wanted to let you know that DH went out and bought the latest PASSPORTER. It is AWESOME!!!
There's a whole lot of info that we haven't found anywhere else!
The PASSPORTER covers info on excursions at each port and rates them on a 1 to 10. So, if you're wondering what to do off the ship, you should check it out!
It's well worth the money. We'll have lots of reading to do in the next few weeks.
35 days to go till May 5th!

Just a quick pop in! My computer is still down. All the charts and worksheets I downloaded from Passporter are on it, so hopefully it can be fixed and not loose things.
I have to find dh and my snorkel sets, they are somewhere safe!:lmao:
Thanks for the info on the Disney shows. I have Tivo taping them right now so I can watch them at leisure and skip through the comercials!!
Good news about your shopping trip Sherrie!!
A quick question for anyone who has stayed at a hotel for any length of time....How much per day do you tip the housekeeping staff? Also, Debbie wasn't there a thread on how to make mousekeeping envelopes? If my computer gets fixed, (please send good wishes) I would love to make them. Oh, and I just remembered I had the most important part of my hi dissers gift on there too...:sad1: :sad2: :sad1: :sad2:.
How fun Tracy, hand made Mickey hands! Madison will love that! And did anyone find out the date when we would need to mail a package by>

Gotta go for now. IT'S APRIL No Fooling!!!!!!!:dance3: (the dancing and singing Osborne's)

I'm bummed. I just found out we don't have the Travel Channel anymore! I guess when Time Warner bought out Comcast we lost it in January. Shows how much I watch TV!

I think I made the envelopes from the website Mouseforless.com. I printed them on white cardstock and they were 4 sided and you fold them up and I put $5 in each one so it's ready for mousekeeping when we go to WL. I'll just use whatever envelopes they give us on the ship for their tips.

We had DS's 23rd birthday last night and lots of cake and ice cream and lots left over. I'll never lose the weight I want to before the cruise!

Don't forget DCL 8:00pm on the travel channel, Channel 65 on Comcast. Have a good monday all

Just checked DCL website and it looks like there are several rooms still available, I checked different cat's and all showed room open, Yes I am bored my sweetie went home and needed a fix.

Are you taking fins? I'm thinking just masks and snorkels for us an mask for Devin (I don't think he will know what to do with the snorkel and probably will just play in the water). Snorkel gear is included in our excursions but I don't want to use another's mouthpiece.

For housekeeping, $5 day we usually do.

Packages must arrive Friday by 5 pm according to the FAQ thread, but I'm going to call DCL to confirm that. I'm going to inquire with UPS and FedEx Ground how many days in advance but I'm guessing about 6 from the midwest from what others stated their experience was. No food or beverages allowed in packages. I'm just worried that the box won't be in the room before 3:15 and the kids' stuff will be in it. Luggage may not fair better. I don't know what to do because carrying it on the ship and all around will be a PITA.

Thanks for all the info, Kim! And we are not taking fins, just water shoes.
I just got the documents for our 4 nights in WDW. That must mean the ones for the cruise should get here anytime!!
And that was what I was hoping to send, my gifts. Maybe I'll ask around on other tr's to see if anyone had mailed a package and it not get in early.
Karen

i am not taking fins..at least unless they come with the mask and such otherwise just the mask and snorkel and for amber just the mask and maybe a kids snorkel

good thing i decided to pack our pop and water instead of sending it..i was going to send it but decided the weight would be outragous for shipping costs.

updated lists where pm'd out :yay:
