I hope we didn't nearly let the cat out of the bag cuz I'm pretty sure Devin's Valentine said something to the effect of meeting them onboard and his letter mentioned counting down the days til we sail. So I'm hoping your oldest can't read yet because I'd feel bad screwing up the surprise. But how did you explain the mysterious appearing Valentines from random children?

It has been so hard not letting the kids know about this. Especially with our parents talking about the cruise when the kids are around Anyway, I guess they just don't pay too much attention because everything seems to be going ok so far. I saved up the Valentines to be included in all of the stuff I bring along for the trip. That way, they can look at the pictures and know who everyone is when we get there. I told them a friend sent us the Disney music. They really love it and it makes them keep asking me more and more to go to "Mickey's Party". I really enjoy them asking because it makes the surprise so much better.

I am a dentist here in the my small little town. So of corse I have peoples teeth on my mind. Saddly enough I have forgotten to pack a toothbrush for my children. I was thinking of adding a few extra childrens toothbrushes to give out. Okay children won't like it but I do know the parents will enjoy em... (will check and see if Have my cool christmas ones left) my sons class really enjoyed those toohtbrushes.

I CAN'T stand it I AM SO EXCITED:!!!!!! Funny how I more excited than my children. They are being so calm I should take lessons from them

thats kewl ...and well i don't know about most kids but my daughter loves getting new toothbrushes.. shes an odd child what can i say...

Welcome all the new people...we have more and more coming out of the woodwork everyday now.. I will add more when i get home today. Glad you all could join us..and looks like we will have a pretty big crowd of younger kids to meet before we set sail.. I am Tracy and we all are going nuts with excitement.. dh decided to quit smoking as well so i think i am going to do something special for him on the cruise proividing he don't start back up by then.

MI Kim- Thank you so much for the CD. We have been listening to it in the truck every morning and afternoon. It really brightened the mood and got Kaylin and I really excited! She could even take each song and tell us exactly where we were on the cruise and what characters were out when they played each song...I can't even remember what I wore yesterday!

ok for all of you that joined the parasailing at castaway cay along with us. i emailed disney on the topic as the passport site posted someone getting a call from disney a week before their cruise with them saying it was cancelled. and this was the response i got from them as well as my original question below it. so i guess we all can go into disney site and take that off our planning for castaway cay now.

Welcome multitudes of new people!! It is great to see more people come aboard. My DH Bob and I are bringing our 5 yo granddaughter for our first Disney cruise.

My husband is Beau - turns 40 on 5/6/07 and I'm hoping to have a few surprises onboard. He'll be shocked if people he doesn't know wish him a happy birthday! lol

Tracy, we will have to add this little note to our daily cruise schedule! That way if we see Beau, we can wish him a happy birthday!

Yep us too dh is ticked off..i went ahead and cancelled our reservations. i almost left it there just to see what disney would do..i would think if it is a permenant thing they need to update their website on that one as it is still listed.

hmm yeah not a bad idea...will have to tell amber that he is celebrating his birthday with mickey as well maybe she will sing happy birthday to him

YIKES!!! That would involve operating a motorized vehicle.... Having someone drag me with a rope sounded a lot safer!

Spur of the moment decision....when Jen gets home from work we are going to pack some bags and go spend the night at a hotel near Disneyland, so that we don't have to get up at 5:00am to get there at opening! We are going to spend Madison's 5th B-Day at the Big D Unfortunely we have to leave around dinner time because, in order to get the day off, Jen agreed to babysit for the boss tomorrow night!

We'll definately be at the Meet & Greet - I can't wait! Devin (who I see is quite popular with his music mix & the girls ;p) and Isabella will probably get along great! If anyone has pre-teens or early teens, PLEASE let me know. Vince, our 12 going on 21, is driving me nuts about other kids on the ship ALREADY. I'm sure there will be plenty in his age group. He's a great kid but this age is very trying for him and us! lol

We were staying at the Radisson also......until I heard about BBB and decided to grab a day or 2 down there. There is a plethora of hotels so I'll decide this week.

BTW, what part of Michigan are you in? It's gorgeous up there in the spring & summer but wayyyyy too cold for this summa chik in the winter! brrr

Well I have cancelled my parasailing excursion. But I'm hoping that I can do it at Paradise Beach. Karen, you can be brave and fly like a kite at PB. It's cheaper there too!

FLA Kim: Glad Kaylin likes it. I stole the cover design from the castaway club site, cut out the stuff they had written using MS Paint, added my own writing using MS Word (I don't have a fancy printshop program), threw in a Mickey graphic I found googling and printed it on CD cover paper I bought at Dollar Tree. The only hard part was lining it up to print properly since there are no instructions or a template for margins. It was a fun project!

I was sooo bummed when I came on last night and they were down. I went to YouTube and search Disney Cruise videos and watched those!

Yay....I met Madisonznana (Karen) and Madison today at Disneyland! Madison had her B-day button on and Snow White dress and she looked adorable. It was a beautiful day at DL today. Flowers were just gorgeous!

Karen...after I left you guys, I got back to my car and I had a flat tire! Yay for AAA! They came into the parking structure and fixed it, so I wasn't too late to take lunch to my mom.

Cruise Critic, the Cozumel forum. There are several threads about PB but there was one very long thread with tons of info, some of the responses from PB Tom himself. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=454500&page=19 I asked about parasailing at post number 379 (thankfully the search function works on cruise critic ). PB Tom answered on post 384 regarding weight restrictions. I can't recall where I got the other harness info from. The parasailing/waverunner guys are located at PB but independent separate companies. I would have to go through the thread again or play with the search function but I think I read $55 was the price. I remember it being cheaper than at CC. Also, they have cabana massages and I think I remember that being $1 per minute, again cheaper than CC. There are pics on the PB site of the cabana massages (Click on shopping, click the slide show on the right and scroll through lots of pics - hair braiding pics too). If you have any specific questions, lots of people including PB Tom are quick to answer. There was even a discussion about the types of beer there. Sorry but they don't carry Corona because they feel it goes flat too quick.

BTW, I'm KimberlyC on Cruise Critic too. And Cruise Addicts and I think Cruise Mates. LOL! But I haven't really visited @ddicts in years. If you haven't checked it out, cruise critic is a great place to get cruise specific info on ports. They have a Disney forum but it's not as active as the DIS.


I wish I lived near DL or WDW too.
