Okay, door signs....you make more than one? And if I add some very slightly dimensional stickers, do you think I can still get it laminated? I am going to personalize my sign and laminate it because I read on another board that a few people had their signs stolen. I figure no one would take ours if it had names and could not be altered. Pretty crumby thing to do on a family trip!

He will answer questions though if i ask him if he wants to do a certain thing and such and packing i will tell him to lay his clothes out that he wants to take and how many days to pack for and he will lay everything out and folded how he wants it and i put it all in the suitcases. 
but thats ok at least then i know he has enough as i count what he has of everything and check it off as i put it in the suitcase. 
oh and on the laminating with puffy stickers. Our local staples said they won't laminate anything with puffy stickers as the heat will take the puffy out and some are too thick. they suggested i use the self laminating sheets and those would work.
I was going to make mine bigger than the self laminating sheets, so I guess I will not use those stickers. Staples does not charge that much for their laminating, even the bigger sizes. Back to the drawing boards

or another idea would be to get the roll type self adhesive that may work for the bigger magnets.. they do carry several different sizes of lamination. 
my dh will wear it just as long as it is simple and in a color that doesnt clash with his red hair i will probably end up getting a different color for each one of us so i know they will wear them. and since i am packing the overnite bag they wont have a choice but to wear them that day. i am packing the suitcases for the cruise but they will stay in the van while we are at the hotel and i am packing just an overnite bag for the nite at the hotel. that way we don't have to unload a bunch of stuff just to repack it. only will need to grab the overnite bag and the toiletry bag and thats it. 
And I will definitely be doing all the packing. I had DH pack his own stuff for New Years Eve - short weekend trip to Toronto. I figured we were staying at best friends what could he forget that he really needed. I told him to pack his CPAP machine (for sleep apnea) and he did. Of course he forgot the distilled water, the humidifier that goes with it, and best of all... the electric cord that makes it work! Unbelievable! If I ever figure it out, I'll try posting.

Hey I noticed your internet post! I see I'm not the only one annoyed by the removal of the unlimited internet service. DH quit his job and started his own biz a few weeks ago. Its an internet type of biz. He's gonna need to spend at least an hour a night or early morning online - so this is going to get expensive. It will cost us at least double, if not more. 4 hours is not a lot of internet for $100.
. I'll do better next week. I hope 
dh got his annual sick pay bonus check and it will cover 98% of it. We can handle that. Although, he reminded me that $$$ would have been enough to buy a new mower (we bought 5 acres last year and have been borrowing his dads). So he told me that this summer when I'm push mowing the yard, I better think only "magic"al thoughts 
and not gripe. YEA RIGHT!!!

another 10 to go though and i thik i figured it out that i need to loose like 1.2 lbs min per week to be at the weight i want for the cruise hoping i can stay above the 1.2 so i can gain more weight for the cruise.
My daughter has not put in for Madison's yet, because she hasn't been able to get coordinating schedules to meet her ex-husband at the passport place (the library). Finally we found she could have him fill out a form and have it notorized so that they don't have to be at the same place at the same time. Hopefully he gets it done this weekend so she can go Tuesday. To make a short story long, I called DCL and they said there is not a specific date, just get the passport #'s to them before we leave.
I had a great time at crop night at the local scrap book store. I got 8 pages done on our 2005 cruise. I am starting to feel more confident so maybe I will start playing around with my door signs this weekend.

Then i started panicking because the Cruise passporter said you needed to have your passport #'s 75 days before the cruise, which brings us back to the Feb. 18th or 19th, depending how you count. and they say to leave 6 to 8 weeks for the passports come. I still might want to spring for a speed up version.

Debbie, I love your door sign! I think you did a great job. I have not worked on it at all today. I need to run some errands and then I will be in for the night. Most likely alone, both dd's are out, dgd is at her dad's, and dh is out doing ::cop: work. Aaaahhhhhhhhhh, peace and quiet!
Ok....here's my attempt at a door sign! I don't have any photoshop software, so you can see I just cut and pasted stuff. When I photocopy it, you can't see all the lines, just a few, so I am hoping I can copy it onto magnetic paper and it will just have to do! Don't laugh!
