May 5th 2007 Western Magic CINCO DIS MAYO!

Hey....KandyK...Looks like you'll get to Disneyland in time to see the new Halloween decorations going up!

Yes we will! It should be pretty cool and the Haunted Mansion will open on the 29th with the overlay, but now I am a little nervous about the crowds. Also on Sunday Oct 1st their new promotion starts-A year of a million dreams. It could be really busy but regardless a busy day in Disneyland is better than any day at work!!!

MickeyD & kandyk,
Let me know if you find any great air fare out of SeaTac - I am STILL looking!
We are in Silverdale. :)

Lynn,
I won't be flying out of SeaTac, I am on the east side of Wa. :) Plus I am cheating a bit, we have vouchers for free tickets.
Have you looked into flying out of Portland at all? Sometimes it is cheaper.

At least you can get a straight through flight, we have to fly either through Denver (which I don't mind since i am from there originally) or Salt Lake. Either way takes all day to get to Orlando.

We plan on going every weekend til our passes expire or we renew them! :teeth:

Hey! I'm baack!!! Finally, in our new house and getting settled. I got caught up here and hopefully I can stick with it now! Welcome everyone and hopes all have a great weekend!

I just booked my first Disney Cruise! I'm going solo. I'm going to combine my two favorite vacations...Disney and cruising! I'm very excited. I requested the early seating, and am waitlisted for it.

My only question is since I'll be there as a solo 28 year old guy, how many women 20-30's usually go on these things? My last cruise on Royal Caribbean there were plenty of people in my age range, but I'm slightly concerned that there won't be that many on a Disney cruise. Any thoughts??

I don't think I can answer that question, as I am married with children, but I would think that this is the best way to find out the answer. We have done 3 prior cruises, & there always appears to be single people on the cruise, but I can't guarantee that. They seemed to be traveling with their family, but again I can't confirm that. I wasn't looking ;)

Hope you find the answer to your question and congratulations on your cruise! I do not think you will be disappointed. :goodvibes

They do singles mixers and lunches so I am sure you will be able to meet others that way. Just note that most people with small children eat at the early dining rotation, while adults tend to stick to the later time. I have been on DCL 5 times and I always see singles around the pool etc., and they look in that age range...but since I have past that age range...um....everyone looks so young that I am no judge of ages! LOL :rotfl:

I am also married but in your age group. This will be our 4th disney cruise and I have met several single people around that age. Also, at the ports you will meet a lot. When you hit Cozumel, you have to hit Carlos N Charlies. Very crazy! Order a shot from the shot girl! Thats where we will be (the one stop where the kid club comes in handy!).
I am finally paid up and time to focus on losing a little weight!

having arrived back in UK from the 11 night southern cruise we have already had withdrawal symptoms and so have made reservations for this cruise..

bye for now LIZ and NEIL in UK :thumbsup2

We are booked to go on the Magic from 5/5 - 5/12 also. :cool1:

It's our very 1st cruise ever, so I'm :Pinkbounc like no other! lol

Our group consists of my hubby and me and my son will be 4 and our daughter will be 9.

We will be driving down from KY on Friday and staying the night at the Radisson at the Port using their transfers to and from the port.

Would love to meet up with some of you there.

Thanks, Karen

Welcome Liz, Neil and Karen!

Karen - I have a 9 yr old girl also!

I am STILL looking for good deals on airfare! :sad2:

I know how you feel. I couldn't believe it when we booked our first cruise and it was DCL! Boy did it get me addicted to cruising!

You are going to have a great time!

Hi all! I can't wait, I can't wait, I just can not wait!! That's my new song, I hope you all like it.

You had better hurry and copywrite that bad boy :rotfl2: Hope everyone is having a good week! The weather is definately getting cooler here in N. FL. Quite a change from S.FL! I am working on this weight thing for the cruise and did like 10 sit ups last night. I asked my husband if he niticed anything, but nothing :lmao:
How do I get one of those countdown thingys?

Hi everyone!
Welcome to Liz, Neil and Karen and Family.
I just spent some time watching the videos that they have on wdwinfo page. I am ready to go NOW!!! :cool1: :Pinkbounc

I just know this is going to be a long hard winter (LOL) waiting for May. Of course we are still in the 70's so it isn't too bad here yet.

The Kirk's: if you want a countdown thingy...I went to the tech board and got the link, then you put in your date and the colors you want etc and voila there it is. Not sure that is much help, but if I can do it, I am sure it has to be easy because computers and I are not the dearest of friends. :)
