May 4, 2014 4-Day Bahamian Cruisin the Dream Cruise Meet!

Hi I am so excited!! My husband and I are taking out three year Daughter on our first Disney Cruise!
I am a little nervousness how she is going to handle late nights and naps, any advice? We got a verandah so at least when she goes to bed we can hang outside.
We are on deck 7:

So exciting! It's our 1st cruise too!
I did, however, take my son when he was 3 to WDW for a week. We did have a stroller for him to ride when he was tired. Our key was PLENTY of water - and we sat and relaxed at every meal in air conditioning. Other than that, he was so excited to be there, he didn't want to miss a minute - and handled the late nights like a pro. Also, his fave part of the parks were the characters. He would stand and wait in any line to get autographs and pics.

Just a question, my DD10 is too young to hang in the 11 to 14 tween hangout. Will she feel too old to for the younger kids stuff? First cruise for all of us. Thanks

Hello all! DH, DD, and I will be on the 4 night Dream cruise with you I cant even begin to tell you how excited we are! This is our first cruise and DD will celebrate her birthday onboard, its a total suprise for her and it is getting REALLY hard not to tell her!!!

Have you been able to still keep it a secret? I'm keeping it a secret from my daughter too & it's so hard not to mention it in front of her (although we booked about 2 months back, so I haven't had to keep it in that long). This is our first Disney cruise too. Less than 20 days to go! Yay!

How funny. I'm surprising both my kids with a cruise during the weekend between their bdays. They think I'm picking them up the Thursday before from school early to go for their annual physicals. (Insert evil laugh here). Less than a month left for me to keep my secret too!!!

I love that idea! I'm trying to figure out a fun way to reveal the surprise to my daughter. The last time we went to WDW we pretended like we were dropping her off to school (except it was really a few hours early, but I had changed all the clocks so she just thought it was a dark, gloomy day). She was tired and grumpy when we pulled into the school & I said "well, no one is here... let's just go to Disney World instead". She didn't believe it until we got to the airport.

This time we leave on a Saturday morning, so I'm thinking we should tell her the night before. I want to do something creative. I'd love any ideas!

12 Days until we leave (since we're driving).

This might be a random question. But has anyone heard if we will have Anna and Elsa on the ship...maybe with Olaf??
I know they were on the Dream when the movie came out but haven't heard anything since.

I've heard that Anna has been on the Dream, and there's a statue of Olaf on Castaway Cay. No Elsa though

The FE list is closed, largely due to some have already left for their vacation. However if you would like to give me your stateroom number and the number of adults and children, i'll post the information for you. I can't guarantee at this late date who will be able to add to their list. i personally have an item or 2 we will give
