We are sailing with you on the Wonder May 4-8th. My kids are DS11 and DD10. I can't believe its almost here, we are so excited. My mom is also sailing with us. I know of at least two other Disers out there that are on our cruise.
Good enough for us, we will probably never be in it! We have thought about upgrading at port, haven't decided yet. Maybe we will get upgrade for free, I guess I can dream.
I wish we didn't have to get a Cat. 4 room, but with a family of 5 (young children) we didn't have a choice. I'd rather spend the extra money we'd save on souvenirs and excursions.
Its ashame that the cruise industry doesn't have a better option for bigger families. Maybe we will be in a Cat 4 when we get there. Trying to save up the extra dollars before hand so we can upgrade at port, maybe.
I am just ready to go now. I have been planning this trip for over 2 years and I am anxious to go.
My family of three will be on the May 4th cruise. I have a five year old daughter who is very excited. I am hoping she will make a few friends while she is onboard.
Welcome to the boards, you have come to a great place. I am glad to see we have more disers going with us on our cruise. Amymomof3 has a daughter the same age as your dd.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I will try to help or direct you to the right people. Once again welcome!
My oldest daughter is also 5 years old. She would love to meet other children her age on the ship. We plan on putting her in the club a couple times during the cruise. We are definately putting her in on Castaway Cay morning so me and hubby can go snorkeling (the youngest two will hopefully be able to get at Flounder's Reef). They supposedly get a free shirt if they participate on the last day of the cruise.
