While on our 1st Disney cruise (3/3-10 Eastern) we booked our next cruise, the 5/3-10, 2008 Western! Prices should be available now.
The family next to us on the bus said that they've done both Eastern and Western twice, and preferred the Western because it's more Port days and more fun.
We're booked on the May 3rd 2008 Western! Prices have been out for a while; we booked over a month ago. Prices are good right now, so check it out. Anyone else coming aboard? Anyone have any 5 year olds (at time of cruise) for DS to play with?

Bobbi, we'll be there! Our son will be turning 5 while on the cruise, and our daughter will be 26 months. He didn't like the Oceaneer Club that much (guess he's a shy 3 1/2 year old) but we're hoping that an extra year and some change will make a difference for next time. I think if he had a buddy it might make a difference for sure.
We'll definitely have to hook up, jdabi! DS has become very social lately, and I'm sure he will want a buddy to play with. AlexandNessa, there's no cruise meet thread yet, I've been checking. I've not started one yet, because I thought I'd look like an early nerd!!
We'll be there...me, DH, and DS5 (by the time of the cruise)! Anyone else booked this early (especially those with possible playmates for DS), I know there are at least two more DIS families that want to know!
Ok, I did it! I just posted a thread on the Meet board and revealed myself as the early nerd. I don't know if I can maintain this momentum for another 13 weeks!!! (Yes, I can!) Our first cruise was a near disaster that turned out great in the end, so I can't wait to make it even better next year. If you are intrigued, check out my trip report (don't know how to link it...), "Late and Long, but hopefully entertaining."
We booked this one on January 31 since we were only interested in one of two staterooms. Sorry, no kiddos here, but I am happy to help keep this thread going for the next 13+ months! My birthday is May 1, and my hubby "got" me this cruise for my birthday gift. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
I'm sure we'll have others over here joining us soon.
One thing I have noticed when we have sailed at the end of the season is that the shops tend to clear out the merchandise to get ready for their change in venue. Like, when we sailed the last Mexican Riviera cruise before Holland America was heading to Alaska for the summer, they had lots of merchandise on sale to make room for the new stuff they would get for the Alaska itinerary. I wonder if DCL will do anything similar, since we're the last cruise before they head west? I tend to doubt it since their shops aren't that big in the first place, but it will be interesting to see!
I will be there too! Me Heather, Hubby Bill, DD Morgan 11 and DS Jake 5.
We have been on the Western on the first week of May and it is fantastic. Best weather and calm waters.
I booked the day the dates were released. I had booked while on Board last May so I got 10% and $200 on board credit.
Welcome aboard, imheather! Great choice; my travel agent also said it was a great time to cruise. We'll definitely have to hook up 5yo Jake with my 5yo Joel and jdabi's 5yo DS. See you on the meet thread!
