Wow almost 2 months since anyone has posted!!!!

Hello - we are also from Southern Louisiana - we live in Houma - we just booked this cruise yesterday while on the Magic - I also have a 11 year old daughter (12 almost 13 at cruise time) and a 15 year old son (16 almost 17 at cruise time). I would have considered her shy until we went on the cruise this past week - I really did not think she would be so outgoing and go into the Edge, but frankly I never saw her unless forced! She made friends with a group of girls and they would do things in Edge and they would look at the Navigator and go do different activities together - movies, trivia things, towel folding, etc. She had a great time - when we got home today she was typing away on her ipod and I said - I guess your friends missed you - she said I am talking to Alley (a girl she met on the cruise). I don't allow her to do facebook yet, but she does have an E-mail - she really doesn't know how to use it - we use it for E-mailing homework assignments to her i-pad. But I am sure she would figure it out real fast. She does do the instant message thing on her Ipod and facetime - only with people I giver her permission to facetime. We had a rather large FE group and we all talked for months and really thought the girls that were around the same age would hit it off, but she really did not hang out with any of them - made her own frinds, but maybe if she knew them ahead of time she would be more comfortable when we got on the ship. I cannot wait - I cannot believe I have stuff all over my living room to unpack and I am sitting here talking about another cruise!!

I don't know where my year went to. I am trying to catch up on all my threads. I am just catching up on this one. My daughter does Facebook and instagram and a little email. but she would rather text than anything else. It would be great if they could start getting to know each other before the cruise. Her email is souda2@viscom.net. I'll let her know to check her emails. It's such a small world. We live about an hour from Houma and go there quite often.

12. What do you like to do in your spare time / hobbies? camping, beach luckily we only live about 30 minutes from the beach, during football season we attend all LSU home football games

I think it might be 13 cabins (37 people). It is under Group 1C on the Facebook spreadsheet if you wanted to get some more information. I don't know how often Kayla checks her messages here. And I know it took her quite a while to get us added to the FE spreadsheet when we first got on. Glad to have you joining the FE!

Hello everyone
I just wanted to let you know that we now have a total of 47 names for the private mixology session that I am hoping to arrange, this number includes those on the wait-list as the max group size that DCL will permit is 40
The minimum number for a private session is 25 so if we can get up to 50 names, we could potentially split the group in two and hold two sessions, providing DCL have the space
Please let me know by PM if you would like to be added to the wait-list as I will be back in contact with DCL towards the end of Feb to confirm final names, numbers and staterooms
Something to keep in mind; once I have provided DCL with names and stateroom numbers and they confirm the session, they will automatically charge each stateroom's on-board account (currently $15 per person) and if for any reason you can't attend on the day you will still be charged

Hello everyone - quick update on the private mixology sessions.
I've heard back from DCL today and we can run two sessions to accommodate our extra sign ups
We will need to split the group into two and although times cannot be 100% confirmed at this point, DCL thought that the most likely outcome would be one session at 2pm and one session at 4pm.
Based on everyone's feedback, I have requested our second sea day as our first choice (Monday June 2nd) and our first sea day is our second choice (Sunday June 1st)
When we get closer to submitting names, I'll do my best to give everyone their first choice of time but we may need to be flexible.
Oh and anyone with enough staying power to attend both wins a free detox session at the Senses Spa

Thank you! It would be much easier to keep up with this on FB for me. I friend requested Jason Rader and messaged him the other day but have not been accepted yet. I know this site isn't checked as often. Is there another way to join the page? I also saw that Kayla was organizing the FE and I think I am interested in finding out about it!! There is so much info for a first timer!! I am so excited!

Omg! So glad to have found this! We have a large group going to the May 31 fantasy cruise! I am traveling w my DH, DDs 5 n 2 years, my parents, my BFF and family 4 kids 10 boy, 5 yr , 1 yr twin girls, her mom, sister and family, in laws, and extended family. I think we have 8+ rooms. Many of us were on the dream in April 2012, but others it will be there first.

I sent Jason a fb request and hope to join the fb page soon. We may be interested in the fish extender but don't know much about it.

Just want to reiterate that the Facebook group is extremely active! We have 97 members(that doesn't include the associated family!) for the Facebook group and should easily be over 100 before the cruise.

We're working on arranging the on board and possibly pre cruise meet and greats, mixology sessions, tours, as well as email groups for the kids.

Looking forward to meeting everyone! We have a great group so far!

Just a note for anyone not on the Facebook page... I will be ordering silicone bracelets for the group, lime green and they will say "livin the FANTASY life" on them. These are great for everyone to where so we can pick each other out on the ship! Our last cruise it was so fun striking up a conversation with someone "oh!? You're a dis-er! Me too!" Etc.

We are also bringing three generations of our family across 3 staterooms from VA. I'm Nicole(I've cruised on the Wonder before) , my husband (first time) and we have an 8 year old boy, 4 year old, girl and our youngest will be a 21 month old boy at cruise time. We are also bringing my adult cousin, Dad(76) and MIL (84). So we're trying to please everybody. We would love to jump in the FE group too.
