I feel a bit like I've been stalking the posting police. I did email Bruce about the FE list. I can't believe how caught up in FE's and magnets I am getting. I'm gonna need a vacation just from planning the vacation ! ! !

The vacation IS the vacation from the planning! Totally know what you mean! But hey it gets easier each time -you know that right? I just pack up the magnets and FE's and stuff in mickey duffle bags so they are ready to go the next time. LOL

I do need to make one with our group name though..... hmm that slipped my mind!

OK, see if I typed all this in correctly. If anyone sees a mistake, please let me know. I will probably send out the email tomorrow or Monday (depends on how much I have to work on Sun) if everything is OK. I will also post a master list of cruisers here that updates all the kids ages. There isn't much of a change since last month.


I did do something stupid last week when I accidently deleted all my PMs from Jan 1 to April 11 ( I found out what that check box does when you hit your PM limit). I think I have all the information in here so if you see something, please let me know. I will post as soon as I send out the email so everyone knows to look for it.

I might want to send it out soon since the day after I send it, they will probably assign all the cabins and I will have to send it out again..


Not long to go, still need to decide what we are going to do for the FE and cruise magnets. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!!!!!

I am trying to get my act together and work on our FE. I need some guidelines on measurements. Any advice how wide this thing should be? Also--what would be the max length? We have two cabins for 6 people--but I think I'll only make one for both cabins to share.

Bruce, are you keeping track of room numbers yet? Ours is 6587. I guess everyone's cat 12 assignments will be coming soon. I'm almost sorry I upgraded to cat 11 - I have no surprise coming. But I guess I will have to live vicariously!! Good luck everyone!

cruisefanz, I think the FE needs to be 8 or 9 inches wide, from what I remember. I guess it could be as long as you wanted, if you don't mind it hitting the floor! I think most have 3-5 pockets. Have fun!

Hello Disney cruisin budgeteers I just wanted to say congrats on you guys for getting such a great deal on your cruise and i hope each and everyone enjoy it to the fullest. Now that being said my family and I was suppose to or shall I say had planned on joining you guys on the May 30th cruise but since my DH drive for a living (owner operator) and our engine went out in the truck that needed to be replaced that killed plans for us going on a cruise. at least for right now but I do have plans for a 4 day cruise in Oct since the rates were so low. my problem i have is I started buying random stuff for gifts to pass out on the cruise one of which is calendars that I need to give to one of you guys since I won't be going until late Oct. I have about 6 disney calendars (actually princess and winnie the pooh) for anyone who would like them to pass out for their FE gifts. just pm me and i'll have them in the mail to you at my cost. I really don't mind. I found them on clearence at walgreens.

Tell your husband good luck with the replacement and to keep all the products moving across the US (The company I work for only ships by truck in the US).

Look for your postcards from Castaway Cay by July since it takes 4 weeks to get back to the US.

Thanks Bruce the engine came from Detroit and we had to wait for that to be built since the truck is a 2001. We only buy parts from the US and not other countries. Thank you for the post cards I can't wait to see them. Do you want the calendars that I have?

OK, I just measured mine and it is 8" wide and 20.5" long. I have 3 pockets and they are each 5.5" long. The fish is about head high, so you have a long way to go...

Okay let me ask you guys what you think about this?
I was going thru our duffle bags/totes and stuff that was stored away from previous trips. Well I found some stuff like Disney caps, hats, etc. that no longer fit the kids and they only wore them like once each. You know things we bought at WDW but we haven't been there since like 2005 really. We went for ONE day to MK before our May 2006 cruise- and then the last cruise was the PC repo cruise so we went to disneyland- and I took the kids alone for the week and Jeff came later (due to work) to go on the cruise- so we took as little luggage as possible so I didn't bring this stuff along.

Anyway, needless to say the majority of hats and stuff don't fit my kids big heads anymore (wait- you guys don't know my kids have always had big heads. Yes our first trip our son was about 5yrs old and we had to buy him adult hats- he's growing into his head now so it doesn't look too big for him now LOL)

Anyway, do you think it would be tacky to put these in FE's? Obviously I wouldn't have enough for everyone but they would mostly fit the YOUNG kids and I think they'd get a kick out of them? like most of the caps w/ears, hats, etc. are toddler sizes. Obviously I wouldn't put them in the FE if they were dirty or anything like that- they just don't still have tags on them but some I think were bought and worn that day only then thrown in a suitcase and later stored away for a "future WDW trip". yanno? I'd obviously wash them first- since they were all worn atleast a little while/one day and then stored away for years. I also have like a pink princess raincoat and matching rainpurse that's too little for Rita now. I'm not sure she even wore it! I think we bought it for her to wear in case it rained and then never took it out of the suitcase. I don't recall her ever wearing it.

So anyway, what do you guys think? If you don't think it's tacky we don't mind bringing them along this time- we're driving and can bring as much as we want this time. I figured some of the little kids might get a kick out of getting these? I have no use for them otherwise.... we also have some pooh, buzz, etc. light up twirly thingies my kids won't use anymore. I remember buying those for them to have during fantasmic one night and never touched again. LOL If y'all think it's tacky to give those out in FE's then maybe we can just give those light thingies away at the parks to random people with kids. The hats they might think is really weird and worry about if they are clean/etc. I mean I know if some random person handed me a hat for my kid I'd be worried about lice or something. LOL

My kids would love them...we don't have too many Disney clothes, hats toys etc but the ones we do have the use all the time!

I personally would not have a problem with it! If it something that your kids enjoyed ...I am sure other kids would too. Think of it as "Going Green"--recycling and reusing. My youngest guys are 7 (twins)...if anything you have would fit that age--we'd be excited to find it in our FE.
