Since it's a new boat, we are going to be checking out the boat! There are usually disboard meetups, changing any appointments, adding on excursions/etc.

Hello everyone!!! Just booked this cruise!! This will be our 3rd disney cruise. I'm sorta bummed that we only get an inside cabin this time, but at least we'll be onboard!!!! Cant wait to "meet" all of you and wait out this next year together !! Here is some "info" on us..family of 4...(ages are at time of sailing) Lisa (36), DH Bo (39) DD1 Cassidy (14) and DD2 Kaitlyn (8) and we are from southeast TN!

I have two DD's and one is going to be 14 years old on May 2 2012 this is for her b-day...that would be sooo cool if we could meet up so the two of them can meet and maybe hung out together! I am Dawn I'll be 39 DH not sure if he is going 39 also and Maddie our 3 year old DD who is going to be 4 when we go and mom and dad. It's going be our 1st DCL.I have been on years ago but not Disney.

That sounds awesome!! I will tell you this about Cassidy...she loves to make friends, but has a difficult time "socially" because she is high functioning autistic. For the most part you can't tell there is anything "wrong" . She is very loving and wants to make everyone happy. What an awesome bday gift for your dd! Where are you from? I'm sure it would be nice for them both to find someone somewhat "familar" to hang out with onboard!

Tori was happy today when I told her about meeting someone on the DIS with a DD her age
my DD is outgoing (just like me)....and just like your DD wants to make everyone happy that sametimes I have to ask her if she is doing something for her or for someone else?
I am Dawn I work full time for JCPenney my DH works in NYC as for now and my DD"s and I are down in Miami to help my dad out with my mom she has MS. We are going on the DCL b/c they asked if we would like to go with them. THey are now DVC members.
I also have a 3 year old DD Madeline AKA Maddie she is my go go go and go she is keeping my young lol
I have a sis name LISA her and my BIL in San Diego CA.
So that is my family we work hard to play hard most of the play hard is done at WDW and now we are adding on DCL LOL

Awesome! I told Cassidy about Tori and she was happy as well! Her first questions was "do you think she'll like me?" I told her to just be herself, that that's all she could do.
I am so sorry about your mom, that is awesome that you are helping out with her. I was tested a few years ago for MS, but it turned out to be Fibromyalgia instead. I am a stay at home mom, not by choice. I had to quit my job as a Phlebotomist/lab assistant in 2006 due to my health. Well, my health and getting Cassidy situated with her dr's and such. My husband works in a carpet mill.

i was sorta bummed that we were only going to be in an inside stateroom after the last 2 DCL cruises being with verandahs. I also like that its on deck 5 where the kids clubs are. makes it easier for me taking Kaitlyn to the kids clubs

I was also going to ask everyone...any interest in doing an FE exchange so far...even if there is just 3 of us on here right now lol

I'll try to find you some links to posts on FE exchanges and send them to you if you want. Basically its just that everyone who wants to signs up and you make these little organizer type things and everyone leaves a little something each day in the organizer that hangs outside your door. We done it on our last DCL cruise and the kids esp. LOVED it! I had fun making stuff for it. doesn't have to expensive things..or even handmade stuff.
