Hello everyone!

I'm starting to work on my traditional Disney Cruise CD. Each time I take a Disney Cruise, I make a special CD(s) to listen to on the way to Port Canaveral. The drive is usually about two hours so I usually make a CD or two.

Anyway, here is my list so far...

 Kokomo – The Beach Boys
 Island in the Sun – Weezer
 Gilligan’s Island Theme
 No Woman No Cry – Bob Marley
 Don’t Worry, Be Happy – Bob Marley
 Red Red Wine – UB40
 Pirates of the Caribbean Theme
 One Love – Bob Marley

I'm fishing for additional suggestions. I want this CD to have a tropical lend, as opposed to my last one which featured a lot of latin/Mexican themes.

Thanks for the help!!!

[See NorthernMouse, I can come up with a lot of good excuses NOT to work on my paper! :D ]

Can I get a copy of the CD? This sounds like a cool thing for my nieces & nephew. I can burn their copies when I get home after the cruise.

ThreeCircles...
How about some Jimmy Buffett? The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are:
1. Changes in Attitudes-Changes in Lattitudes
2. Cheeseburger in Paradise
3. Boat Drinks
4. Margaritaville.
Hope this helps!!!!:D

Kokomo....

Okay, here's my Kokomo story.

We live in Peru, IN. Many years ago when Tom was retiring from the USAF, we made a bunch of plans as to where we'd like to move to - and he sent out resumes and had interviews. Finally, the day came that he made his BIG decision. I was so excited but he told me that I would have to guess where his new job would be! And as a hint, he told me that he got a job in a place that has a song. Well, we had been planning to go back to New York, so I named a bunch of "New York" songs, then tried "Texas" songs, then finally "California" songs......
finally, I gave up.

He started singing the "Kokomo" song.

Peru is 15 miles north of Kokomo, Indiana.

And now you know the rest of the story.
Rae

Well, my DD Emmak beat me to the punch. I was just about to suggest some Jimmy Buffett songs as she did. Kokomo though is my ultimate favorite. I also love Marley. Of course there's always "Hot, Hot, Hot! Good Luck and would love that CD. 13 more days, can we stand it. Weeeeeeeeeee!:bounce: :Pinkbounc:wave:

Great suggestions so far guys!

Keep 'em coming and thanks!

Sorry for popping onto your thread but I like to read about everyone going on their cruises as well!!!

I happend to enjoy

Sea Cruise...."won't you let me take you on a sea cruise" Don't know who sings it though...

I also like Gwenyth Paltrow and Huey Lewis duet Cruisin from the movie Duets

MJ

not sure who sings that one either..."oohwee oohwee baby, won't you let me take you on a sea cruise":p

Is This Love - Bob Marley

trying to think of different artists but Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffett are on my mind!!!

Very Happy Birthday Andy!!:D :D :D

My family is looking forward to celebrating your 50th with you in 2005 on the Magic!!

Builders have taken out my internet connection - so it's difficult to post, and I haven't chosen my own music yet. I'll bring my selection along with me - of course others are welcome to bring their own along to play on Monday. We have lots of Bob Marley....

Since I can't find a Home Depot let alone a lime green Mickey paint sticker - we'll be the odd ones out without them!!

Best wishes to all,

Matthew, if I can find some, I'll get extras for anyone who hasn't gotten theirs.

Glad to know you will be on the 50th birthday cruise with us in 2005!!! Now all we need to do is make reservations while on the ship so we can get our $200 room credit or DVC point reduction!

Happy Easter to all! We have thunderstorms predicted!!!

Rae,

We decided to go to Old Country Buffet for my birthday brunch today. There is a Home Depot store in the adjoining parking lot, I have to run into Home Depot(if they are open today Easter Sunday) for a few items, should I find any of the lime green Mickey stickers, I will let you know.

Andy

I'm having Polish Easter, Andy - kielbasa, hardboiled eggs and horseradish right now!!!! And of course, Mom made a huge bunny cake for Michael!!!

Happy Day, AGAIN, pal!

Hi All,

Just wanted to say thanks again for the birthday wishes I received today and to share this photo of my DW, DD, and myself at my birthday brunch this morning. We had a surprise lime green guest peeking through the window.

Notice that Hazel is the one with food in front of her.......
I guess Andy was too full from his shrimp stealing escapades and poor Angelina was just being supportive of him!!!

No, it just took Hazel longer to get back and forth from the buffet, Angelina and I were already finished eating, the server even had time to clean up our table, and take this photo, while we were waiting for Hazel to finish eating. After brunch, we left Old Country Buffet and went next door to Home Depot and picked up some lime green stickers of our pal Mickey!!!

Andy

Sure...sure...sure! I've heard better excuses!!!

Hi Rae,

Hazel here again, it's true they were finished before me, but, I bet Andy forgot to mention that since it was his birthday, I had to wait on him. Did he tell you that?

Hazel

Hazel, if you tell me it's so - then I'll believe you!
After all, you aren't the family shrimp thief!!!

And he made you wait on him!!!

Andy, for shame!!!!

Don't worry Hazel, I'm in your corner!

Rae

you're putting off a paper for something that will truly benefit you in life!

ThreeCircles, your pre-cruise trip CD sounds great. Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffet are always reliable. Now, if you want something different, and can find a copy of an album produced by Shakazulu in the late 80's, you'd be happily surprised. I'd also highly suggest anything on the Beuna Vista Social Club CD produced by Ry Cooder. If you can get it, the Afro Cuban All Stars CD A Toda Cuba le Gusta is also very good. Anything by Jimmy Cliff and Third World is excellent, too. Of course, I'm dating myself now!

Oh, and Do You Want My Job from the CD put together by Little Village is also a lot of fun.

It's getting so close I CAN ALMOST TASTE IT!!!!!
