I started sewing my FE on Tuesday. On Wednesday, my sewing machine broke AWWWWW! :headache:So, after calling a repair shop, I was told it could take 6 weeks to get fixed. I may end up sewing the rest of it by hand - which is only the bias tape along all four sides and the bottom of one pocket.
I wish you, and all the others, better luck with your sewing machine!

Too bad you dont live closer, we have a sewing machine here. Natalie is the only one who knows how to use it. :)

I wish I could sew too. I can bake thats about it. :rotfl2:

Myself (25) and My Girlfriend (22) will be on this cruise. Anyone around the same age going? Maybe we could meet up for a drink in Europa

We are a little older then you :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: 34 and 36 but are traveling without kiddos and would love to meet up with anyone for a drink :thumbsup2 I feel like a 10 year old though on a Disney Cruise :lovestruc

Verify,
I tried sending you a message on Facebook, but I guess you do not use Facebook often. I can not PM on dis boards or enter an email address because I do not have enough posts. I would still like to participate in the lanyards, but communication seems to be the issue. You can send me paypal info on Faceook, I am Cherie Harvey. That may work.

Cherie, I usually have my chat bar off on Facebook, however I am on there constantly with both my phone and my computer. I did receive your messages today and sent you the invoice via paypal this morning. Please let me know if you got it.

Hey everyone, as our cruise moves closer :cool1: have we decided on a DISmeet place/time? I'm sure that we'll see some of you in the terminal building too!! The last cruise that we took, we met at 2:45 or 3pm, I believe, at the Vista Cafe on Deck 4. We only met for a few minutes, before we all took off for the safety drill. Any thoughts?

Our last cruise was on the Wonder and we met in one of the little sitting areas on Deck 3 down from the atrium and it was also at about 3 and was just long enough to do some quick exchanges and such before we had to take off for the safety drill.

We are open for anywhere around that time, whatever the group decides.

Plus if anyone if at the Cape on Friday evening and plans on eating at Fishlips, let me know and maybe we can time our dinner about the same time. That is our dinner plans for that evening. DH is so looking forward to it.

OK, sounds like we have a good time (if 3 is agreeable with everyone) now we need a place!!!
We kind of like the Vista Cafe on deck 4 because it's off the main path, and not very populated at that time, but I'm up for whatever.

All of you that have been on the Dream or studied the floorplans will have to pick the place since I have only been on the Wonder!! (Love that ship)

Off the main path sounds good. That little area we met at on the Wonder even though it was on the level with the atrium, not very many came down that way at that time.

It is when we get into these sort of plans that really help make the time speed by! Can't wait to meet everyone.

When we sailed on the Dream last fall, our group met up there in the Vista Cafe and my girls loved it, because they devoured all of the treats that they had in their dessert cases, lol! :thumbsup2

Treats sound good to me

3pm at the Vista Cafe would be my vote. Our one DCL cruise that the Dis meet was planned for the first sea day, many of the disers didn't show. By that time, things get in the way. I'm all for putting faces to names right away :thumbsup2. Gives a chance for getting stateroom numbers fixed on FE if needed as well.

The Vista Cafe is on Deck 4, across the atrium from Shutters. It's near the DVC desk and the Future Cruise booking desk. It's an area with couches, benches & chairs (and a little cafe where you can buy drinks and get free treats).

You sold me on "Free" treats :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I know where that area is now! :) ( should have said booking desk :rotfl2:)

that sounds like a plan!! 3pm at the vista!!

My girls are getting SO excited about this cruise and sailing the Fantasy! They said this morning that they only have 2 more months of school, then they get to go on the Fantasy! When we sailed the Dream last fall, it was only a 3-night, just to see the new ships. And, as soon as we got off, all that they could say was, I can't wait to go on a 7-night, because 3 is just too short. And, I couldn't disagree with them, :rotfl2:!

Last year I was able to get the directions on making our FE on these boards. I am looking for those directions for our friends that are traveling with us and just join the FE exchange but I can't seem to find them. Does anyone have them? Or have better luck than me searching for them?

As far as the meet, I'm good with the 3:00 time and locations.

Thanks :thumbsup2

3:00 at the Vista Cafe on deck 4 is good for us because we have an early boarding time but will everyone have boarded by then?

Can't believe it's getting so close! :yay:
