Still wondering when people are WEARING THEIR CRUISE SHIRTS!??? Huh! hehe

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I didn't get my act together and actually BUY any cruise shirts this time. I'm not sure whether it was procrastination or the thought of packing yet one more item! :rotfl: So no help from me.

I plan to wear mine at check-in and may even keep it on through dinner so I will still have it on for the sailaway. If I remember correctly, the dress code for the first night is usually casual because alot of people don't have their luggage in their stateroom yet. I think hubby and I are the only ones who got the Med shirt in lime green so we won't be hard to spot. I'm still not clear as to when the sailaway party is going to be. I thought we actually left port at 10pm which means that those with late dining could still conceivably make it. At least that's what my original confirmation stated. Just recently someone said the sailaway would be at 9pm, which is a bummer.

Welcome to the gang! Glad to see someone else is brave enough to bring a toddler! Should be a great cruise... we will have to get the boys together for a at-sea playdate! YIPPIE

Hi,

Toddler get together at sea sounds great, the boys would enjoy it.

Not really that brave I am now worrying that he will feel left out when the other kids are having a wail of a time in the clubs. Although he is usually a good traveller and he loved WDW last year mickey is his fav, so will have to just find enough to keep him occupied - if you see a mickey stalker with a small child that will be me LOL!!::rotfl2:

Can you answer one question though, DS is not good at going to bed or sleeping anywhere unless everyone else is going to bed so in the evenings when on the boat I know that a lot of areas are adults only after 9.30pm (i know most toddlers are well asleep by then but my DS appears not toneed sleep) Are there places that the adults can go along with toddlers?

It's confirmed at 10pm. The 9pm posting was a mistake.

There are TONS of things for toddlers to do. Our son had a blast on his last cruise... he was 18 months at the time. You can always take him into the Oceaneers Club on a visitors pass. You have to stay with him the entire time but there are a LOT of things to do. Best to check the schedules or ask the staff their to see when the best times to go in are.
Our son loved coloring and doing crafts with the bigger kids. Not to mention climbing the little sea-life sculptures. He danced on stage too!

The nice thing about most of the rooms is the pull across curtain. DH would stay in the room and read and whatnot and I would go to shows...then switch off... Our son will try to stay up late with the adults too...so don't worry. Usually I wear out before him! :)

The splash pool is open late, the movies... We enjoy RUNNING down the halls...every hall...at LEAST 10 times. There are lots of windows to look out too. We were ultra nervous last time about balcony time... but he did well.

I bet your kiddo wears out and will sleep just fine. We requested both a port-a-crib and bedrails. He is in a toddler bed at home but I doubt he will want to sleep in a big bed on the ship...so we got the crib just in case! :)

Disney with a little tot is actually fun! :)

Oh yeah, our son REALLY enjoyed the towel animals... he would just giggle and make animal sounds. Ice carving was neat..and of the dances...

It should be an interesting trip....

What's your stateroom #?

:sad2: Am I the only one who hasn't received docs yet? :sad2:
 TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY I'M LEAVING ON A JET PLANE...

Nope, ours aren't here yet either ...but then, they are being sent to our travel agent who will then send then on to us. So, I didn't expect to have them as soon as everyone else ...and it's my understanding that they sent out the ones that had plane reservations through Disney in the first batch and those that didn't (like us!) in a later batch.

Received our DOCS this am. left by our door. :yay: :yay: WE are now in cabin 7044 which is an upgrade from cat 9. DW is ambulatory challenged with a new knee. So, I purchased a walker with wheels and a seat. Since this collapses, I presume that we should have no problem on our excursions. It is primarily an insurance policy if she needs to rest. Three of our excursions allow collapsible wheelchairs., The rest we are going to wing it, as I consider it like a stroller. Joe

Ok, according to Jen's list, TreasureIsland is in 7044. Who is really in this room :rotfl:
