I just read Page 55......I volunteered???? :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: Okay, bring it on..... Can you tell I'm a little competitive? :cheer2:

Do we know what day or time it will be?

No clue when, but it will be during the evening shows so you are only going to be able to handle the early show "mom". :goodvibes :goodvibes

So does having the Main dinner seating mean that you won't get to see the shows? I want to see the shows really bad.

Thanks to all for always having such great information.

With main dining, you see the show after dinner. With early (main) seating you see the show before dinner. My family is made up of early birds. If we eat early dinner we end up being too tired to see the show. If we eat late dinner, we see the show first and then eat dinner. For some reason we have absolutely NO problems staying awake for dinner! :rotfl:

Here's pros/cons of early/late seating:

Early - you get to eat early enough to enjoy the dessert buffet. Entertainment is all after dinner, so that part is finished before you start seeing shows/entertainment. You get to eat pretty soon after returning from your shore excursions, so you don't have to snack much. You're always on time to special entertainment like the pirate show.

Late - there are less children that are misbehaving. The shows are early enough that you're not sleepy for them. You get to enjoy the snacking up on deck 9 a bit more. You don't have to rush back from shore excursions (or leave early) just to get ready for dinner.

HTH!

Nope, nope, nope. I switched to late (just today) with all the fun folks.

I know. Your show will be early and then dinner late. You will only be able to do the early show, unless you are going to miss dinner.

Does anyone know if we will be charged a fee for using our credit card/bank card on the ship? I was just wondering since the ship will still be considered American money.

Also, to all you pro cruisers. What is the one thing you would tell someone to pack that a new cruiser would never think of? Thanks.

Does anyone know the average cost of a meal in Barcelona? We are trying to figure out how much we would spend on food for one day (for two people). Thanks.

Im Gonna do what I usually do !!!

SUE ????;) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So, if you have late dinner then you see the shows while main dinner is going on?? and vis versa?? Also, we are a group of 14 with no little ones....would it be better to give up our main seating for those with young ones who need to get to bed, or can't wait too late to eat etc...??

We enjoy the late dining!!!!

;)

Rita the Guest list was updated on 4/22/07

If you sent your info after that date Jen may have it and not put it on the list yet?

Wait for next update if it does not appear.
then We will have to get it to her again.

If this is not the case then send a PM to Nejthelion with the info and that should get it to Jen..

Good Morning Jeni!
1} Dont forget sunscreen
2} If you havnt already made them, you might want to go directly to the Vista Spa and see if any treatments are left and
3} Once your luggage arrives at your cabin, take 45-an hour to unpack and get acclaimated to your cabin and breathe!
First time on the Magic {2003} I was too excited and didnt do any of that and spent time living out of suitcases and taking care of stuff for my family.
2nd time on the Magic{2005} I took the time, unpacked and relaxed and had a much better time {if thats possible!;) } because I wasnt living out of a suitcase!
The Magic will still be there even if you do take that little time!
Have a great day
Rita

Char has been to Pompeii but not Herculeum and I haven't been to either one, so we'd like to do both. (We wouldn't mind hitting the relevant museum in Naples as well if there's time, but suspect that there isn't.)

Alas, there's no Disney excursion.

Does anyone have a relevant plan? (For purposes of this discussion, "take the train" is NOT a plan; it doesn't specify which train, how to get from the ship to the train, or how to get from the train to the relevant sights.)
