Big scoop here!

I just heard about the new entertainment planned for our cruise!!

A bit of it is hype, but it sounds good. There will be three new theater productions (only one in my count).

When Mickey Dreams

Mickey Mouse's dreams come to life in this production. There will be cirque-like acts and a nightmare with Malificent.

The Art of the Story

For those on the 10 and 11 night Wonder, this was one of the shows. Hopefully they tweaked it a bit (I talked to a guy in entertainment from Celebration and he said they were going to). Acts from Moulan, Tarzan, Beauty & the Beast, Lion King and the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Ducky Williams and others explain how a story comes to life.

On the Nose

Also premiered on the 10 and 11 night Wonder. This was a game show where the audience was divided up into sections and we answered trivia questions with prizes awarded to the winning sections. This was a hard game to play if your section was spread out. You were seated in certain sections, but if the people in your section weren't together, you couldn't discuss the answers at all. I hope they revamped this a bit as well.

We will also have a Mediterranean Deck Party which will highlight music and special effects for all of the ports of call we will visit. Part of the description is that it will "light up the sky" so I presume that means FIREWORKS!!!!!.

The sailaway party is listed as being new.

Pirate night is listed the same as it is for the 4 and 7 night cruises -- dinner and deck party.

They also said there will be other activities with European Flair! Films shown in the Buena Vista Theater will include Moulon Rouge and Casino Royale.

The best is the kids clubs!! They will be doing things in the clubs that will get them ready for the ports which are coming up. They will be making puppets, tiles and crepes to name a few things!

Finally, we will be boarding the ship on deck 1. They will have an express elevator to Deck 9 and the other two elevators will make stops at the individual floors. I'm so glad I'm on Deck 2 this year!!!!

Thanks for this... Now I am even more excited but also wondering how I am going to squeeze everything in... Shore excursion, Show, Dinner, Partys... I am going to need a vacation from my vacation.

I am also looking forward to hearing things from those of posting from ship on the B2B in a few weeks! I don't know how I am going to sit still for my flight (SFO-JFK-BCN) I am going to so excited.

Maybe if you just tell her that it's really 6:30, not 8:30 you'll be okay. With the time change, an 8:30 dinner is like eating dinner as a late lunch. It also gives you time to have an afternoon snack in port or onboard ship without ruining your meal. Come on - go for it! LATE IS GREAT!

Sue

Sue,

Thanks! You pushed me over the edge..:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I called and switched to Late dinner....:woohoo: I'm so glad....originally we made it Main seating for the old folk....but with most of the port times being late, we didn't want to miss dinner or come back to the boat and miss the port.

We made the executive decision without their input...:thumbsup2

Hi Everybody,

I'm working a lot haven't been able to post as much as usual.

Maybe we should pick a section of theater for all of us to sit in for the On the Nose game. We would kick butt. DH has been reading everything he can get his hands on concerning Disney (not for this cruise, but for his own interest in Disney).

Sue, Thanks for all the Euro and CC info. You saved me from spending a couple of hours on the computer.

Tracy, great job on getting the scoop! We haven't seen any of these shows.

I wonder if they will be sprucing up the entrance on Deck 1. We love boarding on Deck 3 with the announcement.

Won't work for On the Nose. They give you a sticker before you get in the theater with a section to sit in because they want to spread you out. We could all meet in Preludes and then go together and say we are one family :grouphug:

So does having the Main dinner seating mean that you won't get to see the shows? I want to see the shows really bad.

Thanks to all for always having such great information.

You'll see your show while the Late dinner is going on.

I think what others are referring to is they are too tired to go to the show after dinner. Would rather sleep through dinner than to miss the shows :rotfl: Not me! I want them both!!!

Me too! After Sue helped me realize my folly, :lmao: I got our dinner switched to late seating :woohoo: :woohoo:

So, if you have late dinner then you see the shows while main dinner is going on?? and vis versa?? Also, we are a group of 14 with no little ones....would it be better to give up our main seating for those with young ones who need to get to bed, or can't wait too late to eat etc...??

I would, but because of the late ports. I've seen a lot of the shows so if I miss a couple, that's ok. But I don't want to miss dinner.

Only switch if you want to. We did for the late ports. Some shows are really geared more for the little kids, so those we skip. There is always something to do, see, or eat....so have fun at your own pace.
