Anyone getting information on the tentative tender plan for La Spezza? We're wondering what a reasonable time to expect to be ashore would be when you are NOT taking a Disney excursion. I know we're the guinea pig group and they'll have good answers for those following in our footsteps, but I was wondering the variety of answers people are getting from Disney.

I have only tendered with Disney in Cozumel and was on an excursion so no tickets were involved an we were first off.

This whole airline thing is a nightmare. Now I can't access my ressie at all! I just spoke to an AA rep and she said we were NOT CONFIRMED for the return flight. I thought I had just been through this whole thing about 10 days ago when we found out we had to layover at JFK. She said she confirmed us and would send an email verifying it. I'm still waiting....... As Han Solo would say, "I have a bad feeling about this"

We leave Orlando on the 25th of May AA MCO to MIA @ 1:00pm. Connect to Iberia Air out of MIA to BCN @ 5:05pm arriving BCN 10:10am on the 26th. As long as Iberia doesn't pull another change on me!!

I have only tendered with Disney in Cozumel and was on an excursion so no tickets were involved an we were first off.

They really would have no clue since they haven't been there before.

I'd give yourself 30 minutes for tendering (includes 15 minutes of wait time and 15 minutes of transit time). That seems to work on most cruises for most ports. They try to stick pretty close to the "ashore" time, but I'd give another 15 minutes pad there to. So, if we're supposed to be ashore at 7:30, I wouldn't book anything until 8:15. Although you really shouldn't have a problem if you're booking a tour with a tour company or a private guide. They'll wait a reasonable amount of time for you to show up from the ship.

Just wanted to send some pixie dust to everyone flying on those changed Iberia flights. I hope it works out for you.

Today I had a bit of a scare. My daughter's bus didn't arrive at 2:30. By 2:45 I called the bus department. They put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then came back on the line to say they couldn't reach the bus driver yet because they had an emergency! But to stay on the line and they'd get back to me. I immediately raced for the computer, checked the news and then called the school on my other phone. Thankfully it ended up being a broken down bus. The "emergency" was FOUR broken-down busses. I ended up driving up A1A and picking her up. Poor kid was stuck on the bus for almost two hours!

Christina handled it like a champ! Luckily it was towards the end of the route so there weren't that many kids left. Christina was so worried about the other kids still on the bus that we had to stay there until the replacement bus came and the kids were transfered. Then we spent the whole drive talking about how those kids were going to get home in the "small" bus that picked them up - and how in they were going to tow the big bus!

It's amazing what kids will worry about!

I've tried calling USAir and have been on hold for quite a while. I tried using the live chat function too. Did the flight info change on the USAir website? We're flying out of Philly the day after you and now I'm a little nervous because there 8 of us traveling together.

We had booked our flights a LONG time ago. I think the flight has changed from 5:30 to 6:30ish... it wasn't anything major. I was more concerned that we got dropped!
