May 25th, 2013 Fantasy Western!

to all the new add ons for this cruise. We had been on vacation for a week visiting family in Texas. While we were there, my DMom & Stepdad decided to go on the cruise with us. They are on a GTY for 5E with verandah. This will be their first cruise ever. They will not be doing the FE though. We are also going to be doing 6 days at WDW before the cruise.. So now I am planning our 2 week trip plus their cruise along with it. I am the master planner though so it will be fun.

Oh, I forgot to add this before. John, it will actually be our 9th Anniversary next year. I probably forgot to add the year. We will be celebrating the 29th while on the cruise.

Definitely in but haven't booked flights yet. Can't believe how much they've gone up. Every year they get higher. I dont know if I should wait till virgin air posts their flights for May and June. United wants around 550 for RT LAX to Orlando!

Just booked our 3rd Disney cruise. We will be sailing with all of you on may 25. This will be our first time on the fantasy. We are all very excited. I have a lot to read on this thread to catch up with everyone. We would like to join an fe and meet. I hope to get to know everyone here. My last cruise in september was extra magical because of the disgroup. We did tastings together and just hung out. And the boys made friends to play with.

Up-to-date count is always on the spreadsheet (link in my signature, below). If numbers get too high, we'll split - probably around 20 staterooms. That seems to be a manageable number.

Hi everyone! We just booked this cruise onboard the Wonder. It'll be myself (diana 44) and dd (Sierra, 11, 12 at sailing). It's my 3 rd Disney cruise and dds 2nd. We're still on the Wonder, but it'll be nice to look forward to our next cruise once we leave here. I'd like to join the fe too. I've never participated in a FE, but looks like so much fun. Can't wait to start all the planning for our next vacation. Looks like we'll be doing WDW after the cruise since dd last day of school is may 24.

Looks like Staceynj will be celebrating their Anniversary the same day as ours on May 29th.
How many of us will be at WDW before the cruise? We arrive at POP on Sun May 19th for 6 wonderful days at our favorite place.

Hey guys. I have just now joined DISboards. We have this Fantasy Cruise booked for 2013. Me, my DH, DD 15 and DD 5. We also have another couple and their DD5 going with us. We were on the 5 day Dream last year and loved it so much we came right off the ship and booked the Fantasy 7 day.

We have been to Cozumel several times. I actually just returned from Grand Cayman (loved it) but we have never been to Costa Maya. Looking very forward to this cruise for sure!!

Not that there is a real group leader for our cruise, but would somebody like to generically mediate this message board? Since Meghatron is no longer going on this cruise, I guess it might be nice for somebody to just keep an eye on things. For example, several have expressed interest in a FE. Somebody would need to simply maintain a list for those interested. Just give it some thought and feel free to simply declare yourself "in charge" if you want!

It stands for Fish Extender. There is a fish (or something similar on the Fantasy)on the wall next to your door. You make an Extender to hang on it and people in your FE group leaves gifts in it. That is an FE exchange. It is lots of fun and you get lots of fun stuff. Look on the main Cruise Forum first page and there are threads about FE, how to make them, what kind of stuff to buy, etc. You don't have to spend much money on it either if you are interested.

Ok, thank you! We will definatley think about doing this. I have just now been able to start focusing on this cruise as I just came off a 7 day girls cruise last week which totally occupied my time until now. Any suggestions would be great. We have done the Disney Dream twice. One 3 day and one 5 day. Both were quick cruises and they were 4 at the time so we didn't try to do too much with them.

I have a couple questions for you Disney experts. I have cruised A LOT but there are somethings that I have not done so this time with our 5 year olds joining us here are some things we are thinking about. If any of you have done these things, please let me know your thoughts and whether or not you think we should do this with two 5 year olds.

1. Dolphin Encounter & Turtles in Caymans.
2. Atlantis Submarine in Cozumel or Costa Maya
3. Bibbity Bobbity Boutique is a MUST for them. MY DD will be 6 on 5/30 and she definately wants to do that.

I'm trying to decide where we'll be staying at WDW. I'm not quite at the 7 month mark to book another resort other than SSR right now. Thinking maybe AK.

Yeah, we have booked our air it seems real now, bills to prove it lol. It is still so far away but love the planning!
