Hi y'all ! I can't believe I just found this board. Better late then never right ?
Could someone tell me what a FE fish extender is ? What are the bracelets ?
Is it too late to be added to better late then never group and the meet And greet just to get to know fellow cruisers ?

We will be traveling with our 4 kiddos .. Luke 5, Aubrie 4, Abbie 3 and Lexie 6 months. Yes that's a lot of kiddos, and yes I need all the blessings I can get I was hoping at the kiddo meet and greet that we could find some other kids same age they could play with on cruise

Welcome Laryssa! It is a little late for FE, and really, with 4 kids and a week to go, the last thing you need is to try and wrangle a FE and gifts. BUT - you're just in time to join the Meet & Greet! We'll see you in D-Lounge, Deck 4 Midship at 2:00 - 3:00pm. We're trying to get a group picture at 2:30, so plan to be there for that.

Diana (kirkaliciasmom) is taking care of bracelets. I know we were getting pretty close on the count, but if there's any available, you should be able to buy them at the end of the Meet & Greet.

Make sure that you get the kids signed up for the kid's clubs. I hear they're great, except that for most kids, you have to drag them kicking and screaming out of the clubs since they like them so much.

This being our first Disney Cruise, I'm pretty sure that my DS (age 11) will want to do both club.

My daughters first Disney cruise was last year at age 11. I did sign her up for oc and edge. She didn't care for oc, she thought it was too young for her. She spent all her time in the Edge and loved it! She can't wait to meet new friends this cruise.

My Son, just turned (22) will be with us. He is in the Air Force and stationed in Italy. Hope there are more people his age on the ship.

My daughter is 5, turning 6 on May 30th. Her friend will also be with us and she is 6. I'm sure getting the kids together at the meet and greet prior to the kids club will help out some. That way they alteast see a familiar face like I know you from somewhere....LOL! I think all these kiddos are going to have an awesome trip! Can't beleive we set sail in 10 days!!

Does anyone know any secret ways to rent a cabana if it says they are all sold out ? Now I know it is a long shot but it never hurts to ask ..

There is a wait list you can be put on when you board the ship. I'm not sure if you request it at port excursions or guest services.

I just realized our room number is wrong on the FE (better I found it now than after we got back). Totally my fault John, I sent you the wrong number our room is actually 8053, soooooo sorry!!! we have two cruises booked and when I signed us up I looked at the wrong paper, again so very sorry to everyone and hope it can be corrected!

That sounds like a good plan. I will try that approach. I know our cruise is sold out so they may not allow my 10 year old in the edge. No big deal if they don't he will be fine either way but wanted him to have the option.

Another question from the newbie! How strict are they regarding the dress code for the formal night? My husband doesn't have a suit. Would he be ok in dress slacks, sport coat, and tie? My daughter is a tomboy, could she wear dress pants and a top? Or, should we just skip it? Is the food any different that night?

They will be just fine! You will see everything from jeans to ball gowns and tuxedos. I know they have lobster that night. Unless you show up in something really crazy no one will pay attention to what you are wearing.

The pool will be so jammed pack that there is hardly any room to move. It isn't very big at all. I'd skip the floats.

I don't know if anyone else has seen this yet. We watched it and it was a pretty good show. They are really bad about the stuff on TV being so old but this was a new show about the Disney cruise line. It will be on a few nights next week on this Destination America which I believe is 194 on Dish Network?:

Just an FYI-Children need to be potty trained to use the pools and the Aqua Lab. The Fantasy has a wonderful!! splash area called Nemo's Reef that is open for all children.

One more hint. The day you board be sure to pack a carry on bag with your kids swimsuits (or have them wear them) and sunscreen. You won't be able to get to your cabin until 1:30ish and sometimes your bags don't get delivered to your cabin until after 5 PM.
