May 25-June 1 Are we Nuts?

Hi Everyone
Looks like we may have an unplanned trip for the dates above. Problem is this is a Wed-Wed and includes Memorial day weekend. Are we nuts to go then
The deal is too good to pass up. Air fair for $98 round trip each and room for $74 a night. We have annual passes so we don't need tickets. We are pros and go about every 9 months but this time of year would be a first for us.
Any info greatly appreciated.

We will also be there Memorial day weekend, I am sure it will be crowded, But I am still looking forward to this vacation. I think we will be staying away from MK on Saturday. We are arriving on Tuesday the 24th and leaving on Memorial day. Have a great trip!

No! You will have a wonderful time. We were there last year over Memorial Day weekend. The crowds weren't that bad (of course I used Tour Guide Mike and that definitely helped). On Memorial Day we went to MGM that morning and it was fairly busy. About 4pm we hopped over to MK and were shocked at how empty the park was! The CMs said it had been that way all day!

Who cares if its crowded, i think some of the fun comes from watching many different cultures being brought together, and realizing we are all alike in at least one way

I had to stop and re-read who the OP was - thought it was me for a moment.

We are going the same dates - 5/25-6/1. Found the airfare cheaper this way. Kids are missing last two days of school (boohoo for them .

The one thing we're doing that I think will help is getting a full day of MK out of the way on Thurs 5/26 before the big crowds arrive.

Wow, we are doing the same exact thing! We've been several times and we are not trying to cram in a ton of attractions this time. Mostly just hang out and grab fast passes and swim and eat and go to Downtown Disney and a waterpark and ...have a great time! The last 3 times we've been, we've had grandparents with us and that forced us to go slowly and care for lots of different needs. This time is us and the kiddos with 2 rooms that connect. Should be fun and a little bit different from the last trips.

If your crazy so are quite a few of the rest of us. I will also be there May25-31. I have never gone for Memorial day. Figure it can't be as bad crowd wise as July was. I am also hoping the heat isnt as bad.

I want to try to go every month of the year and stay at each hotel. I may not do it this year but my DS6 agreed we should see how many we could stay at. My DH just says "whatever U want dear". You take care of the bills.

Little does he know I am taking him to DVC country this time and I have the $$ in hand to buy. OK maybe just 150 points to start but... I was only going to Disney once every 5 years and look where I am now. I go every 3-6 months at least for 4-5 days.
