May 24th 2012 3 night Dream cruise!!!

It is still pretty far out to tell. The weather will be fine. Even if there is rain it is usually scattered and doesn't last long!

Wow, finally one week to go until the cruise

What I have experienced is doing it one time during the cruise. We did get a gift for each person in the cabin, and the gifts were delivered at random times. When we delivered ours, we tried to do it so that the recipient did not see us delivering the item. It was more fun that way. We are looking forward to next week!

WooHoo only 3 more days until we get to see Dream up close and personal. Me and DDs missed out on FE first because my hubby and his mother-in-law (my mommy) who's also going with us on this trip, both thought it was a bad idea on such a short cruise and I am not creative so making a FE would have been impossible and I didn't have enough time to get one from eBay, but they did agree to let me have fun with the magnets. Can't wait to put them up and finally see a decorated door with our names and pics.

Boarding our cruise today. We have been at VWL resort for the last 6 days and the weather has been awesome. Just checked the weather for our trip and doesn't look too promising. Anyone have any cruise experience in the rain? Praying we miss that storm off the coast.

Welcome home everyone! We had a blast - lots of character and princess time for our little princess, and spa time for mommy and daddy too

I passed some really long fish extenders on deck 2 on our way to the Enchanted Garden too!

What was everyone's favorite part of the cruise? Mine was the time we spent on Castaway Cay with our little one, who enjoyed creating and destroying sand castles over and over again. And hugging the buoys out in the ocean with Daddy. She's a nut.

Since it was just DH and I, our favorite parts were Serenity Bay and the Rainforest Room in the spa. Wow, it will be hard to go back to the family beach next time

Yes, having gone on the kid-free cruise 4 weeks prior.....the family beach is a bit less relaxing in comparison to Serenity Bay.

Did anyone else book onboard? We booked Alaska for June 2013 - my Dad turns 60 next year and he wanted to celebrate by leaving sunny Florida in search of June snow the couple we went with rebooked the same cruise too! So we'll have good friends, a little one for our princess to play with, and my parents to play the kids while we go to the bar

We already had a Med cruise for next year booked, but we changed it while onboard to the Fantasy Western next year. I wanted to do the Med. but it was stressing me out trying to plan and seeing how much money it was going to cost to fly/stay in Europe. I couldn't handle all the logistics. The Caribbean will be much less stress.

Yeah, while I'm thrilled to be heading back to Alaska, I know the cost of the trip will be double when we add in airfare and hotel. Being from Central Florida has spoiled me - a trip on the Dream or the Fantasy is only a 45 minute drive lol and then we complain about parking costs
