Hey there Rita, be assured that you have not been left out as nothing is really happening yet. Make sure you send your FE information to MoonDaughter, information is on the first page. People have not been assigned to groups or anything yet and no groups are closed already. I am thinking that there won't be much happening on the FE groups, etc. until after the first of the year as everyone is busy with the holidays, etc.

Just so you know, the FB page is not the same as this group. Not everyone participates in both places--some do both and some do one or the other, but they are not tied together, each one started by different people, if that makes sense. I post in both places, but here is where I find my FE info--I find it easier to keep up and find things here and others find it easier to keep up on FB.

Hopefully we will see more activity once we are through the holidays.

On a side note, my DD picked her school colors. Red and Black. Inspired after her fav Disney Character, Mickey. You might be a Disney Fanatic if you pick your school colors based on Disney

Keep an eye out for my crazy family dressed in our red shirts on the first day. Can't wait to reveal on Christmas Day

I am updating the FE list on page 1 tonight. Happy Holidays! I hope all of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had a great Thanksgiving, all of you who celebrate Hanukkah are currently enjoying your Hanukkah, And I anyone who celebrates Christmas is enjoying the beginning of Advent and Christmas festivities to come.

Man, I am so far behind! I cannot believe the last time I signed on was in September. I assure all of you I am not an irresponsible person who joins something and then disappears. We've had a few more family crises in my world (again). It's kept me completely out of the social media loop plus I gained 15 pounds from all the stress eating. We almost had to cancel our Aulani trip for Christmas. Fortunately 2 weeks ago I was able to pull things together and salvage the trip. I'm praying for no more drama.

No cancellations for Alaska though! I am SO looking forward to it. I just got back to my excursion research this weekend. So much to choose from!

A few ideas for on your own stuff that won't break the bank...(from the local)

We just signed up for this cruise while on the first 5 night cruise on the re-imagined magic.

On the previous one we took the kids, but for this one to Alaska, it is just my wife and I. We are really excited as this is the first big trip we are going on since having 4 kids.

Welcome Was the 5 night on the Magic, the 1st cruise, it wasn't the one that got cancelled though as it sounds like you went, right?

Silver Shadow only has about 400 passengers, so I'm no longer concerned about Sitka!

ooo got scared there for a bit but really 400 people, that isn't even a boat!

Yeh, school colors? Are you guys in the process of finding new schools for next year, too? My son's school only goes to Kindergarten so we are on the search for 1st grade. Seriously had no idea this would be this difficult so early, I didn't think I had to deal with this til college! Did you find flights yet?

Oh no, I hope all is ok! Glad Aulani is still a go. Have you been before? I'm wanting to plan a Disney something for next October (well Fall I believe) and I can't decide between a cruise, Aulani, DL Paris....I don't think it makes a ton of sense right now for WDW solely only because I don't want to renew our APs this month (nothing planned in the next year so why renew right?) ARGH decisions!!!

Ok don't laugh but I'm already in the process of booking a B2B in Oct 2014 (4 nighters) on the Dream. One is a double dip of CC so we would have 8 nights and 3 days of CC! I'm so excited. Waiting to hear back from the TA though. I am still excited for Alaska though. It's almost 2014!!! Eeek

Ahh, makes sense now-thanks for clearing that up for me. I was trying to figure out how a student picked their own school colors--when my son was of school age, there was very little home schooling that we knew of.

Will make it to Aulani someday. When we were in Hawaii we were on the wrong side on the island and would not have been able to get there and to the airport in time. It was more important to see Pearl Harbor. Next time!
We have our airfare now just hoping that DCL will have a specified hotel for the night before.
We plan on visiting some filming sights in Vancouver. DD loves Supernatural and DH says he will take me to a little place called Steveton (sp) or otherwise known as "Storybrook"! Does that mean anything to anyone else out there?

I watched the Wonder on the webcam sail out of Galveston last night. I was checking to see if she was held up. Even though I felt bad for the poor poster that was stuck on a Texas freeway rather than boarding their cruise, I couldn't help admire how lovely the ship was with a little imp inside singing, "Five and a half months! Five and a half months!"

I subscribed to that thread just to see if she made it! All I know is that if that was me, I would have done everything to have been at port before that storm showed up. Reminds me I need to go see if she got there. If not I sure hope she had insurance.

My son and I went to see Frozen tonight. His first 3D movie and he loved it! It was really good I think, though I admit I didn't realize there would be so much singing, but I didn't mind I just didn't expect it. We were the last ones to leave (we knew we should stay when we saw Monsters University so now he thinks we have to stay through the credits for EVERYTHING!) but I will mention if you didn't know, you do get a little surprise at the very end. Cute!

I saw the post about being stuck. I felt bad for her. That is always my fear missing my vacation Not gonna miss this for the world Glad to hear that the Wonder is looking good.

I tell people high school was okay the first time around, not so much the second
