Nope. It's just a nicely packaged confirmation from DCL. I just like getting them. Since I used DVC, mine came later than everyone else's.

I've been thinking about getting this book from B&N. I almost ordered it yesterday with a coupon. I'll definitely get it next time.

I've been away for a while (vacation and then a flu-like virus knocked me out for a bit). Wow! This group has been busy! I see I'm still listed as a maybe in the first post. Well, my in-laws decided to join us, so now we are officially staying on the Wonder and our party size has gone up by another stateroom.

I just sent my request to join the Facebook group and I look forward to getting to know you all there.

I was going back thru this whole thread and was just wondering how in the world you are going to decide which one of these cruises you are going to do.

Just an FYI, I saw your tag that says former CM, and I am a former Disney Store CM. Wish I was still able to get my CM discount on this Alaskan cruise.

Hi RweTHEREyet! I was trying to place which part of the DIS I "knew" you from and think it might have been the CM boards. I was a WDW CM for 18 months and a Disney Store CM for another 9.5 years. I worked at the Cherry Hill Mall in NJ; Christiana Mall in DE and the Riverchase Galleria in AL. Our store closed several years ago and yes, I definitely miss that discount!

As I posted last night, my in-laws decided to join us for this one, so we are fully committed to this one instead of the Fantasy. See you on board!

Yes, probably the CM boards. I was at the Raleigh, NC Disney Store for 5 years and I quit when they were sold to Childrens Place. I wanted to work for Disney, not someone else. I lasted until my 5 year anniversary for my pin and then I said goodbye. Our store is still open and seems to still be doing well. I know very few people that work there now and it is so weird to go back in there and not recognize a face at all.

Mine was delivered from Amazon yesterday, and I have thumbed through it and I think I will be pleased with the purchase. The book literally takes you up the coastline and tells you what to look for at each mile and then has several pages on the ports. The map is huge. On the back cover someone is quoted as saying they laminated the map to use while on their verandah, but I don't see how they did it unless it was cut up and done in sections.

I have bought sheets of lamination paper at staples which is regular paper size so I guess you could put them down edge by edge. Or I don't know how much (or if they even can) laminate it for you at staples and the like?
