I know, so over the top dramatic! I love how he looked all heartbroken while it burned.Really, this season is rapidly approaching beyond ridiculous.
Especially the part where we had to watch "The Mask" SIT ON THE TOILET while Bentley gazed longingly at himself in the mirror and fixing his hair.
I mean really! WTH??

...really....aren't flash mobs supposed to 'eventually' get larger and larger, with more and more people adding themselves to the dance?

+1 on the spoiler thread!
...and to throw in my .02 cents here...Bad Bently, bad William, and bad PRODUCERS!! Seriously!?!Such low class this season to the main star. I found myself cringing almost the entire 2 hours.

For one, <this is the feeling I'm getting> the producers pre-told the guys that either Emily, Chantel, or Ashley would be their new Bachelorette. Dumb. Not only did it set really high expectations, they had an immediate comparison to start off with, and it placed a stoopid amount of pressure on Ashley. No wonder she was so nervous at the meet/greet saying, "I hope the guys like me."![]()
And as far as the roast, the producers took advantage of that situation in the hopes it would go too that far...comparison to Emily, flat b**bs. They spared no expense in the ratings dept.I know Ashley can be a bit whiny, however, I felt BAD for her.
For comparison, here are some pretty interesting recaps on what the other Bachelorettes experienced during episode 3 of their respective seasons:
Ashley Season 7 Episode 3:
1-on-1 date: Ben C
Group date: comedy roast![]()
1-on-1 date: J.P. (potential winner here, I hope)
Ali Season 6 Episode 3:
1-on-1 date: Roberto (winner)
Group date: video taping Barenaked Ladies
1-on-1 date: Hunter
Jillian Season 5 Episode 3:
1-on-1: Ed (winner)
Group date: movie taping country western movie
1-on-1: Sasha
DeAnna Season 4 Episode 3:
1-on-1: Richard
Group date: bull riding and square dancing
1-on-1: Jason (2nd place)
Folks, here is the text from her blog at People.com. Notice in there how she says it's not the last we'll see of Bentley?!?!?! Wha?!?!
[snip!] What a great sport Ben was!
Calling someone a great sport does not bode well. It also shows some awareness that Ashley made this guy do things totally for her.![]()
Knowing how funny William was, and how close I felt we had gotten on our first date, I was looking forward to his roasting the most. [snip] It hurt me that William did not use great judgment. I thought he would shine most. However, people make bad decisions, and in my heart I still knew he was a guy with good intentions. I wanted to give him another chance and another rose.
Here is an example of someone who doesn't understand about good judgment versus good intentions. People don't USE good judgment, they either HAVE it or they don't.
Drunk drivers don't intend to injure/kill people. But, they have bad judgment and get behind a wheel and run people over.
Ashley got run over by William during that roast.Did she NOT see how his eyes lit up t the thought of national fame that the roast would give him? Honey, this man wasn't there for you. He actually thought, the more painful he was, the funnier he'd be.

Turning Point This episode was a huge turning point in my view of Bentley. [snip]The truth is that I always look for the good in people, and I saw that in him. She has bad judgment, too. Maybe she's right for William after all.![]()
Unfortunately, it's not the last you will see of Bentley. So, the actor comes back. . .
I had a date with JP the night that Bentley left, and I felt terrible that he would have to see me in the state I was in. At that point, I felt him to be one of the most sincere, down-to-earth guys, so if I were to have a date with anyone that night, JP would be the best guy.
So J.P. was the REBOUND date. Yeah, men love being used for that.![]()
JP is that I actually fell asleep on this date while cuddling with him. It turned out to be a very sweet night.
Like I said, THIS date went well.![]()
Especially the part where we had to watch "The Mask" SIT ON THE TOILET while Bentley gazed longingly at himself in the mirror and fixing his hair.
What kills me is the insane amount of times she says "Trust in the process, it DOES work"
Really?
and she says it with a straight face. Howzabout we get to what *it* really is....face time on tv, lol...
How can she say that when she didn't win last time? Nor did Brad & Emily stay together. Or 98% of all the other couples.
Mask Man never seems to shut the door when he's on the toilet???I'm so glad we didn't have to see him wipe.

Do guys really hang out together in the bathroom like that? I would think Mask Man would get kind of stinky if he has to read while on the potty!![]()
Was he really on the toilet doing his business or did producers tell him to just sit there while Bentley was in the bathroom? Last week they showed the Mask Man sitting on the toilet looking creepy, peeking around the door. I'm going to miss the phantom music![]()
