May 23, 2011 - The UNOFFICIAL "The Bachelorette" - NO SPOILERS, please!

Good lord, this has to be some kind of producers joke. How can Bentley be this hideous and how can Ashley be that upset he's gone? This season is weird.

burning the mask!:rotfl2:

Please let it be an act. Nobody can be that much of an ***. I feel bad for Ashley today. It's a whole lot of rejection for 24 hours. Maybe she should have listened to the text.

I hope it was an act - but WHY would you do that, if you were him? This could harm his career, business, heck even his relationship with his daughter. This is not a harmless act of being crazy on Tv - he was off the rails. Sure, he gets exposure but who wants to be known as the guy who was a sociopath on TV?!?! I don't see an upside for him.

Posting first while watching. I'll go back to read & comments you gals posted after:

OMG! Anyone else think these "dance dates" are so narcissistic? "How about we do a date all about ME and what I want? I'll even teach you what to do." :sad2:

Ashley has NO chemistry with Ex-mask guy. he put his hand on her arm, and I think she wanted to pull back.

WILLIAM: I said it in TWO posts. I was wondering if he'd be emotionally immature. Yep! I was right. A CHILD does not know how to put themselves in another's shoes and have empathy that their actions and words may hurt them.

I even said he might not be someone who can stay when it gets tough. Ashley said she wanted him to comfort her and HE LEFT! :sad2:

Yay! Ryan gets two roses! :woohoo: He got the first impression rose the first night, and the one tonight. (He's my current front runner. :thumbsup2 )

Oh, look. The two actors on the show, Bentley & Mask Man are having a heart to heart talk. :rolleyes1

Bentley: "These guys are all idiots." I can't wait for the Guys Tell All episode. :duck:

Ooooo! J.P. with exposed nips! :faint:

Did anyone else notice that as much as Ashley was wiping her eyes, there were no real wet tears falling? :confused3

Does anyone else feel like the way Ashley moped over Bentley, it was a real F-you to the rest of the guys? "Oh, sorry, I'm so down. My first choice has gone home. I'm stuck here with all of you as my second choice. . ." :sad1:

Gee, Ashley, isn't that how you felt with Emily being Brad's first choice?

BTW, how did J.P. happen to have pj bottoms at the date? :confused3 Ashley just happened to have men's pj's stocked up for when guys came to visit her?

Aww, the actors went home. I guess the show didn't have it in their budget to send the two actors to Taiwan.

I figured William would stay. Too obvious to send him home.

Dancing again. Really? Plus, that had to be the WORST "flash mob" I've seen yet.

I really think William is there to get discovered. He keeps saying comedy is his dream. He sure wanted to get noticed...and not by Ashley. He was more concerned with the comedy host.

I think Bentley was there to get a "Fast Pass" to Bachelor Pad. At least you win money on that show. I think his goal was to act like the biggest jerk ever so that he wins a spot on that show. All the mentioning of Michelle Money (who will be on Bachelor Pad) sounds like a great set up for the show too.

I have to wonder if Ashley is in on the shenanigans. If not, this will not be very good for her self-esteem issues.

By far the best part of the show was the ceremonial burning of the mask.

The thing is, he's not even funny.

::yes::

I'm tired of all the dancing. I'm glad Bently the jerk is gone. I can't believe how emotional Ashley got over this guy. She must feel like a real idot watching all his sidebar's on the show thus far. If she couldn't see through this guy, even after being warned, how is she ever going beable to trust her own judgement and meet Mr Right???

When Mask guy took it off, I wanted to scream, "put it back on"!!! No connection there.

I like JP. The rest, I get them confused, to many still......

...personally, I think Ash should have sucked it up and stopped crying like a baby. She was already warned about Bentley and his shenanigans, but she fell into it, hook, line, and sinker! She wanna play wif fire, she gonna get scorched....let the flaming BEGIN :snooty: !

....William is at the dock, but the ship has already left....

Folks, here is the text from her blog at People.com. Notice in there how she says it's not the last we'll see of Bentley?!?!?! Wha?!?!

I could probably go on for hours, writing about all the emotions I felt while watching the third episode of The Bachelorette.

I had feelings of nostalgia, excitement, hurt, betrayal and embarrassment. Stepping aside from the fact that I was visibly emotional throughout the episode, I could not stop watching. I was glued to the screen and even though I lived it, I quickly learned that I did not know many things that were being said when I wasn't around. As I watched, I found myself both laughing and crying.

At the cocktail party last week, you heard Ben C. tell me that if there was ever a dance date happening again, he'd love to be a part of it. I was so excited knowing that I had a flash mob date coming up, and Ben C. was the perfect guy for that date. From the first night I met Ben, I loved his energy and intelligence, so I was happy to see such a fun, carefree side to him as well. What a great sport Ben was! I put him on the spot by having to dance in the middle of the Americana at Brand mall, but he showed unwavering focus to do the moves correctly despite all the distractions around him.

Having Far East Movement perform while we had our first kiss was pretty memorable, too!

The idea of a roast for a group date was a great one. I told the guys to "bring it on," and the more insults the better. What I didn't know was how far they would take it, or how sensitive I would be to certain subjects.

Knowing how funny William was, and how close I felt we had gotten on our first date, I was looking forward to his roasting the most. My thoughts on roasting someone you care about are that you have to find an equal balance of being funny and complimentary at the same time. You must use good judgment in this situation. It hurt me that William did not use great judgment. I thought he would shine most. However, people make bad decisions, and in my heart I still knew he was a guy with good intentions. I wanted to give him another chance and another rose.

Turning PointThis episode was a huge turning point in my view of Bentley. Throughout the first two episodes, I was very surprised by the things he said, but a part of me still looked for the good in him, and wanted to, once again, give him the benefit of the doubt. After watching this episode, I can't help but feel betrayed, lied to, and made a fool of. I know many people wonder why I kept him around after the warning I got.

People may speculate I was attracted to the "bad boy," or maybe they thought I wanted what I couldn't have. The truth is that I always look for the good in people, and I saw that in him. I only knew what he showed me, and I felt it to be real at the time. I can tell you that from the bottom of my heart, I don't remember ever feeling this depth of hurt and embarrassment. Unfortunately, it's not the last you will see of Bentley.

I had a date with JP the night that Bentley left, and I felt terrible that he would have to see me in the state I was in. At that point, I felt him to be one of the most sincere, down-to-earth guys, so if I were to have a date with anyone that night, JP would be the best guy.

The date was sweet in every sense of the word. We ordered Chinese food, and had dinner by the fire. I can tell you a couple things that happened on this date that you didn't see. We opened a fortune cookie that said something along the lines of "patience will be rewarded sooner or later." We laughed because at the last cocktail party, I told him to be patient with the process. Another behind the scenes tidbit about my date with JP is that I actually fell asleep on this date while cuddling with him. It turned out to be a very sweet night.

Thanks for watching!

Bentley and Michelle Money must have the same AGENT!! :lmao:

That Flash Mob sucked EGGS!! :scared:

Poor mask guy, what a disappointment. He wasn't even a turn on WITH eyebrows!!!

Ashley's ALMOST as bad an actress as the actors are. This show has literally jumped the shark.

Still love me some JP and Mickey, even though they didn't show him much last night. JP was adorable in the "out of the clear blue sky" PJs, and he was the kind of guy she needed after the Jerk Parade she had to suffer thru last night.

Prince William turned into the CLOWN prince last night. Immature dummy...

a lot of last nights show was so ridiculous that I feel bad for JP. The dude is stuck with Ashley in a *wreck* over Bentley (I think she is in on the whole thing too now...actually she is starting to bug me) I'll be watching for 3 reasons.
1. JP
2. Mickey
3. Consantine (something about him is interesting inthe dark horse kinda way)

Personally, I think most of these guys appear to be to good for Ashley, she and Brad are more alike than ever right now.
