A couple seasons ago, the guy kept sending girls home at random times. He'd tell them something like "I'm not feeling it with you, and don't want to lead you on...." I don't remember his name.

Oh, now I understand. That would keep me on pins & needles if I didn't know when he'd send me home.

I was more annoyed at how she tilts her head to the side when she asks the guy if he will accept this rose.

Is it just me or this season b-o-r-i-n-g???? It's turning into a snooze fest, especially with her obession with Bentley!

Agreed. Boring as hell. I think is my 4th time watching and usually I love my Monday nights after I get my girls to bed. Ice cream and the show. Last night I watched the last 30 minutes in ff so I could go to sleep.

Ashley is so concerned that the guys would be disappointed that it wasn't Emily or Chantel. I wonder what she thinks about the rest of America also wishing it was one of them? Chantel would have been fun to watch. She's funny and engaging.

I *think* that was Jake, wasn't it? It was hilarious! The girls were constantly on edge because he could obviously send them packing at any time. And then he picked Vienna and we all know how THAT went... He was the bachelor who seemed to be so serious about 'finding love' and then he picks her, goes on DWTS and does some TV show. Um, I'm thinking he was more into finding his next paycheck rather than love. Not to mention the fact he seems to have some serious anger issues.

Back to Ashley. She is really insecure. it's almost painful to watch. I'm sure the guys are sick to death of hearing her explain for the 1,000th time that she wants them to be ok with her being the bachelorette. And Bentley? Not even worth her time yet she frets over him constantly, comparing the other guys to him! How can you be so connected to a guy you spent maybe two hours total with?? Goodness, JP is a whole heck of a lot cuter than Bentley and apparently kisses better too. Wake up Ashley.

I say for next week's show, we all count how many times she mentions Bentley. Thank God it's not a drinking game, we'd all be smashed in about 1/2 hour. Maybe sooner actually.

Ugh, no kidding! I think this reason alone is why I loved Ali's season as the bachelorette...she was so confident and glad to be there. Ashley is a trainwreck.

Maybe the show should be renamed: The Bachelorette (but not Emily or Chantal.)

OMG, can you imagine how damaging that would be to Ashley! She says it enough though, good grief!

<gasp!> She sent the murderer home! Did anyone else feel the chill when he left? Interesting how he made sure to keep saying how his dead wife was the love of his life back then. . . (until she was not . . . and he drowned her. )

Ash is a sweet girl, but she is a mess. She's no self confidance and she doesn't know what she wants in a guy. She's been with them long enough to know which ones she's no "connection" with. Remember the guy a couple seasons ago who kept sending them home. I didn't think there would be any girls left by show 6!

I agree. On Brad's season, she was VERY insecure and constantly questioning his feelings and so on. Then when they announced her as the next bachelorette, I thought maybe her insecurity was due to the fact she was competing with other women for the same guy and she'll be fine on the show when SHE'S the only woman. I was so wrong!

Yup, boring boring boring. I was texting and writing emails while watching and I never do that with the usual season!

Chantel would've been interesting...she cries a lot though. A lot. She's insecure in her own way. But she has more personality than Ashley so I'd bet she'd have been much more fun to watch.

Is it just me or does this season seem like it's been on forever already? And it's what, only the fourth episode? Honestly, I felt like I was going to Phuket last night every time she mentioned that loser Bentley.

go back to the first page or so of the thread..since there was a Ben, Ben and Bentley we said this would be a drinking game, lol. Only now I think it should be every time Ashley dances. I'm just watching for JP at this point, and the scenery of Thailand.

I'm glad I'm not the only one sick of her showcasing herself. Look everyone, it's the dancing-I'm-still-in-dental-school- dentist! Ugh. Maybe they should have renamed the show "The Bachelorette...So You Think You Can Dance??"

I don't think she kissed Constantine, either- I don't remember seeing them kiss on the one-on-one date. I get more of a friends vibe from her and Constantine- from Ames, too, I think.

One thing, though- Ames suddenly got cuter to me last night. Before, he looked really weird, kinda like his eyes were too far apart and his chin was odd- last night, he looked pretty great.

Ames was more attractive to me last night too, although I still find him a little strange looking. I was telling my husband that his looks remind me of the lunatic that Harry Connick Jr. played in the movie Copy Cat....that movie is frightening!

with all due respect because he seems like a very nice and intelligent guy, but when Ames got out of the Limo all I could think of was a pale Oompah Loompah. His jacket was too small/short...facial features...I know, flame away...but I cannot get the image out of my head.

No flames here! He does resemble an Oompah Loompah. Poor guy! I think it's because his forehead is high and his eyes a bit far apart. I do like his personality though.

Yes, she kept saying how surprised she was as she got to know him better. But, it was not enough to kiss him.

good point. i'd think i might be pretty irritated to hear her constantly refer to someone else as "my guy." or course, it's all probably fake and she can just tell her real pick that.
