This is the first time I saw Ames' personality. I kind of like him. I also like BRILLIANT spontaneous men so I'd like being around a man like him.

Me too, I'll bet he sticks around for awhile. He was certainly the most laid back, natural date she's had so far.

This is the first Bachelorette that I have ever watched and I have a quick question, is Ashley contractually obligated to hold each of the roses like it is a rosary to pray with?? She looks awkward or something with it in both of her hands.. Just curious!

I was more annoyed at how she tilts her head to the side when she asks the guy if he will accept this rose.

Is it just me or this season b-o-r-i-n-g???? It's turning into a snooze fest, especially with her obession with Bentley!

It IS boring. What's silly is they really think we CARE about this Ash/Bent thing... uh NOT. It's so fake, contrived and scripted (not to mention BADLY acted) and the other guys, though cute as buttons, don't look that INTO her. She's just so blah.

My gaydar is usually on full alert and I don't see that in him. He DID ring my "geekDAR" though, but I like geeks.

kinda like she just got off a horse ( no offense to the Equestrienne's here, my DD rides) she is bow-legged and petite so I think it shows more. Or maybe it's from all that quality dancing she is doing, lol. The Bently thing kills me too...she had like what...a few hours *real* time with him and fell THAT hard? Hello script? Meet Ashley. I actually wish that Chantal had been the Bachelorette...while she was the queen if the waterworks, she was more engaging and fun than Ashley. It would have been awesome to see her reaction to Jeff/mask guy and Tim/drunk guy lol.

Aw, Ames is sweet! This is the first time where you get to see his personality. Ashley seems to be a bit smitten with him, I think they had the most natural date too.

She is a little dramatic - I'm sure that is scripted - but they have the names written on little tags on them -I've seen it - so she has to look and read the names.

I know - the skinny jeans are not her best look.

Oh - here comes the drama - Bentley is back and she is going to see him. Maybe he will ask to come back like Ed in Jillian's season.

I wonder what the other guys get to do while Ashley's on a one on one? I would think they wouldn't be content to be in a foreign country, just sitting around in the hotel, waiting they get their date.

What about the guys who never get a one on one and are sent home fairly quickly? I wonder if they can trade in their plane ticket for one two weeks later, and just travel around Thailand for a bit on their own?

Maybe the show should be renamed: The Bachelorette (but not Emily or Chantal.)

A couple seasons ago, the guy kept sending girls home at random times. He'd tell them something like "I'm not feeling it with you, and don't want to lead you on...." I don't remember his name.
