Daughter Megan is having some complications late in her pregnancy....I may just disappear from here if I'm called to fly to Omaha to be with her. But I will have Sharon keep everyone posted if that happens, and will try to post from there.
IF that does happen, I'll go up there for as long as I can, then fly back here, meet up with Sharon and Kaylah and still go on the cruise. I'll fly back to Omaha as soon as we're off the cruise.

You sound like a fun bunch. This will be our 2nd Disney cruise, the first was 4 day in July 08. We had so much fun we booked this one on the ship. Only thing different that we are hoping for is that our teenagers, Girl 14 and Boy 17 make some friends. We are going to make them go to the teen club at least one other time than the first night.

Welcome to the cruise!!!!!!!! My ds will be just about 14 at cruise time. This will be our second cruise. The first was a 4 day. Last cruise my ds only went to the clubs a few times. He did make friends with our table mates and spent some time swimming with them! Hopefully he'll spend more time in the clubs and make friends there!!

Hello!! I have two boys...one is almost 13 and the other is 15. I think there will be plenty of others close in age for them to hang with. I already told the boys they need to go to the clubs the first night to meet some other kids. Last year we went to a Beaches resort in Jamaica and they met some kids their age and just had a blast...I am sure the cruise will be the same way.
Can't wait!

Allears09- I have a 16 year old daughter on this cruise. She's very cute & doesn't have a shy bone in her body. I am sure when she finds out a 17 year old male will be onboard, she will be more than anxious to make friends.

I'm with Tracy.....from what we've always been told, ANY liquid on Disney has to be carried on. If you packed it in luggage and checked it through with the porters, then you were lucky you got it delivered to the stateroom...because generally their rule is "No".

I've carried on wine and Pepsi before because I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Guess we have been lucky and hope it holds out

My daughter Tarryn is also 14, she has always had a great time on board so hopefully they can all meet.
They tend to go the first night to register but don't really gel until they go again as they need to break the ice. After that it seems the phone doesn't stop and they hang out more than go to the club.

We are coming in Friday Night and staying at the Hyatt Regency in the Airport. Will anyone else be there?
We plan on getting to the terminal as early as possible!

I just got off the first Tortola Disney cruise yesterday and I need to ask a favor for those of you going to Tortola. I brought a little plastic bottle to collect sand at a beach in Tortola or Virgin Gorda but I forgot to collect the sand and am very sad that I didn't. If anyone is going to a beach during your stop in Tortola, would you be willing to fill the bottle for me? I can mail it to you and pay for return shipping as well. The bottle is only 2 inches tall so it wouldn't take up much space either. This would mean so much to me. Please PM me if you'd be willing to help me out.

By the way, if anyone has specific questions about the cruise, feel free to PM me as well. I did the Tour to Virgin Gorda excursion in Tortola, St. John Island Tour, and Stingray Adventures at Castway Cay.

Rebecca, I would love to do that for you....but am kind of up in the air right now as to whether I'll be at home before the cruise. My oldest daughter is having pregnancy complications.
I did the same thing for someone during our Canal cruise and it really was no trouble at all. I wish I could help!

Hi Ledermans! My DD Mallory is 14 and DD Jessica is 16. I'll tell them to look for your two. The 14 yr olds could communicate by email before the cruise and meet up at the Sail Away. Our home email is atlgants@bellsouth.net. This is our 3rd cruise and probably last, as expensive as it is! Our told our oldest that it is an early Senior Trip. We also have DD Christie 12, so we got 2 adjoining cabins on Deck 2. With 4 women, we need those 2 Bathrooms!
