May 23, 2009 (5/23/09) E. Caribbean w/Tortola

Thanks for posting this!!

Ours was sent 4/23, 3 day select, says we should get it on 4/28/09.

It says out for delivery right now!

mine was sent 4/24, due on 4/29. It went from Orlando to jacksonville.

We just got our cruise docs!!:cool1::banana::cloud9:

Much different than in 2005, I had to have them sent to my work and sign for them. No one had to sign for it this time. My mom heard the dog barking like crazy, we thought it was at the kids outside going back and forth and back and forth and back and....on a dirt bike:headache::mad:) But she went to look and said "Disney Criuse Line"!

So I guess were' good to go now!! (we each got two luggage tags..what happens if we need more :confused3)

If you need more, you can get them at the port.

Yes our docs are here, looks alot smaller than last time. My beloved took my youngest to his Orthodontist appointment but couldn't convince him to get mickeygreen bands. He went with goofygreen instead:snooty:

The Man

Will have to wait and see if Sharon got our docs. I tired the link Tracy gave, and it came up with nothing for us. :sad1:

Angie.....it just goes to show that the RIGHT DRESS makes all the difference!! Jordan would never have worn a dress either, if we hadn't started cruising. She discovered how fun it was to turn herself into a young lady.

Back from dinner, library and dancing with a quick stop at kohl's.
Picked up a couple of things for Adam to try on to see what fits, matches etc.
I cant believe I was just thinking our last DCL trip was in 2006 -what happened to the years - yikes:rotfl2: yikes :confused3 yikes :rotfl2:

Hi everyone! My husband and I will be on this cruise too. I can't believe we're under 4 weeks! So excited. This will be our 4th Disney cruise. I look forward to seeing you all there. Seems like a great group :flower3:

WELCOME!!! Glad you're joining us.

If you're interested in meeting up with all of us before sailaway, we'll have an update on it. Keep checking in!

So sad...no docs yet! And I tried the link, too, and nothing. Maybe tomorrow. Good thing we don't have to sign for them, because I started another marathon week today & have to work 12+ hours tomorrow. After semi-cleaning the house yesterday, doing laundry, & running to the store, I was whipped. Felt like I never had a day off. But I did park my rear end last night & watched 'Beaches', and of course cried at the ending.

Gonna turn in soon. Need a good nights sleep. I'll check in tomorrow & let you know if they came.

Forgot..talked to our inhouse photographer about underwater cameras & he said he had a Pentax Optio WP & said they were wonderful. But they cost about $550. So I thought to myself, ya right, like I'm going to spend that much. Well, I checked online & picked one up for about $275. That I can afford, so I hope I get to take some beautiful pictures. Can't wait to try it out.

My two older underwater cameras are both the Pentax Optios. One was the W10 and the other the W30. And I paid right around what you did. NOT $550!!
I'd had mine for so long the batteries weren't holding charges and wanted something new, so I bought the Olympus at COSTCO. Will be "ocean testing" for the first time on the cruise....I hope I'm not disappointed after having the Pentax.

Jay said today that if you and I want to spend more time together, I could always go to work for you. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'd be just another of those useless warm bodies!!

Speaking of batteries.....long story short, Jared's computer went for repairs and when he got it home he couldn't connect to our WiFi. So I got out my laptop (which I'm bringing on the cruise) and used it to check our WiFi. I decided to charge it up. It won't hold a charge!! :headache: I went online and read that it's a common problem, and that the original batteries don't stay charged long anyway...which I knew. So I paid $140 to upgrade to a better battery....there goes my massage!!
Anyway, I am glad I checked it now so that I had time to order a new one. I would have tried to watch a movie on the plane and been really ticked.

LOL, Stacey this is what I was going to say. We have two Pentax Optios - the W10 and I think the W30, paid around $350 each. I love them! But I wanted one for further depth so I got the Olympus before the PC cruise last year. I like them both, but think I like the Optio a bit better.

I've bought a Pentax Optio W60 for this trip. Was practising with it in the bath the night it came (i'd like to stress i was not in the bath so there are no pictures of me in said bath) It seems like a good underwater camera - I got a really great shot of a bathplug. :lmao:

 I'm still waiting on the waterproof Canon d10 I preordered a few months ago. Canon's release date stills says May. I am hoping and praying it gets here in time!!

No documents here, but they'll go to the agency first. I can't wait!!

I'm a little worried about the Olympus. So far, on land, it seems to have slow reaction for zooming in and zooming out...and a bit of shutter delay. Not good when you're trying to shoot a fish that's swimming away!
The pictures themselves, once focused, seem really clear though.
