Huh...I haven't seen or heard about Meat Loaf in forever. I think that's pretty true about a lot of the older guys now. Time to retire and kick back and enjoy the ride.

What's a baby naming?? Is it the same thing (basically) as a christening?

Not sure what you do at a Christening, we go to synagogue and the rabbi gives the baby their Hebrew name and all sorts of blessings during the Saturday morning services and then there was a lunch.

It is only done for the girls as boys have a Bris (circumcision) at 8 days and that is when they do there's.

We did Tarryn's when she was a couple of weeks but Sofia who had her's yesterday just turned a year.
It is not a religious ceremony so some people do it and others not.

Also, do you think we should do the brunch at Palo's? Can't decide if we should or forgo it and book the spa!
Also, still working on our FE gifts..hope you like them!

Woo Hoo for having your cruise paid off!! You should be able to make your online ressies soon, right?? we've never been to Tortola at all. Why choose...do both palo brunch and the spa...LOL...that's what we are doing!!

We've not been to Tortola, but I've been doing a lot of reading. We're going to take a taxi to Brewer's Bay. There are some places there to get a bite to eat and a drink, restrooms, etc. I'm either going to count on the same taxi driver to come back for us at a certain time (and not pay him till he comes back) or see if I can have someone at one of the restaurants call a taxi to get us. It usually works out that the original driver will come back.

Spa or Brunch? I guess I figure I could go to a spa here if I were so inclined, so therefore, I choose Palo over spa any day...especially if I have to choose just one.

If we can find it we will!!

I actually wouldn't mind seeing the Baths...but I can't walk around all the uneven ground and rocks. I had surgery on my foot and leg last year and still don't have much strength or balance. Not to mention the bad knees and shoulders and.....geesh I sound like my grandma used to!!

I'm Interested to see if you find one - I did but it was double the price than doing it on our own thru speedy's. Someone was supposed to email me a contact but I am still waiting

If you do maybe you can negotiate a better price for a small group, we will be 4 (2 adults 2 kids) and our friends may be interested too.

We are finding out everyone just says they can beat speedy's, just show up at the Ferry terminal, unless they give a quote in writing I can take with me I just raise an eyebrow. Still looking keep you updated.

Did a bit more cruise shopping today!! Bought myself a bathing suit and cover up at walmart!! (was shopping for ds for his work out clothes...he is trying out for HS football and they already have them working out this year).

I saw some dress pants and shirts for the guys there as well, will have to take them back there this weekend. We're going to get our passport pictures saturday, and wednesday (on dh day off of work) we're going to get our passports.

Looks like mom is adding some "bling" to the FE! LOL

Okay I can't remember - I know I can make Palo's reservations for my family in separate cabins (they're paid in full too) but what about excursions? Can you only make those for your cabin?

You can only do Palo for everyone unless the other rooms have Castaway Club members in them.
