(we're still dealing with the slow leak upstairs..mold in the walls, floor, bathroom, our office...going on a month now. They came back to work on it and found more mold under a cabinet! so I spent the day in a house smelling of bleach!!!! ugh! So I forgot all about our countdown!!)

Somehow I missed that "conversation". That doesn't sound like fun at all. Hope it's not making y'all sick.

Oh, I guess I didn't post it here!

The friday before our 1 yr wedding anniversary(aug 18th), we saw stains on the 1st floor ceiling. Went up stairs, took out the extra sheets/towels from ds bathroom cabinet and saw TONS of mold! Looked in our office that shares the same wall...mold on the floor and wall! Contractor came out that Saturday to look and said he'd be back monday to tear it all out. (took mom to airport that day). Sunday at 9pm...septic backed up and we had what we thought was water leaking in the garage.

Know how hard it is on a Sunday night (in AL) to find a 24 hour service that actually is open??? The guy who came out finally left at 2am in the moring! Surprise...it's our Anniversary now! (and 1 month since dad passed away). We slept for about 2 hours and got ds up and ready for school. Contractor came, knocked out the drywall and found the leak. Plumber came and closed it up. Needless to say, we never did get out to dinner to celebrate! I think we got burgers and fries so I wouldn't have to cook!

We basically have been waiting for a MONTH now for them to come back. They had to order a new custom made sink/cabinet area for ds bathroom. They just came back yesterday to tear out the old one...found more mold under it. They poored TONS OF BLEACH on the floor!!! Had to tear up tiles also. Still waiting for the carpet guys to come in and replace the carpet in our office. So basically all our stuff from that room has been stored in our hallway and ds room (since he can't sleep in there because of the mold!). WHAT A MESS

Yes, it has made us sick. So ds is sleeping on an air mattress downstairs, I moved my desk into my bedroom, and we are basically trying to stay out of our office and ds room! Ds missed 4 days of school from being sick. We both have bad allergies! Hopefully by next week it will all be fixed!! (at least it is covered by the waranty!!!!!!!!!)

Also our dog (well, my mothers dog) fell 9 feet from our back yard to the driveway! (on a friday night over the labor day weekend!!!) Dh was at work, mom was still in FL...so I got to drive 45 minutes away to the ONLY emergency vet open for the weekend!!! Belle is fine now...her "toe nails" got knocked off...and that was why there was bloody paw prints everywhere! Poor Belle!!! I had to buy baby socks to cover her foot, give a few different meds and soak her foot twice a day!

Right about now I'm ready for a vacation for sure!!!!

I could use some extra support from people who understand the importance of looking thier best in bathing suits and formal wear!

I don't get around the boards too much, but I don't think there is one specifically for loosing weight for a cruise, but I do know that there is a board section just for those working on loosing weight in general.

The number one thing that we are hoping is that we simply get to finally do this cruise together. Sharon and I, along with some other Moms, have planned two cruises where Sharon ended up not being able to go with us. So we're really looking forward to just having a great time together.

Hope everyone has a geat weekend. The weather has been beautiful here. Girls have a soccer game tomorrow then we're getting together with friends tomorrow night.

Going out tomorrow to buy our tickets for HSM3. They went on sale today. We, along with our friends, want to go opening weekend so we'll get our tickets now to be assured a seat at the time we want.

I am LOVING this cooler weather!! It's great! We are headed out to the state fair on Saturday! (we missed our County fair).

Next weekend it will be Homestead Hallow...a HUGE arts and crafts show and food!

Following weekend it's our 2nd annual Pumpkin Train ride! It will take us to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin and go on a hay ride!

We even have the next few weekends planned out after that! We're trying to keep busy until our Disney trip in December

Hi Everyone we got all packed, moved and unpacked over the last 2 weeks, now I can focus on this cruise well inbetween searching for a job that is LOL

I thought I would post the who, where, and photos of us so we can introduce ourselves!

Who:
Amy (that's me) 2nd Cruise, and 2nd on DCL, This is not the best photo but it was my birthday and I was at Disney what else can I say LOL

Angela (That is my mom) 2nd Cruise, 2nd on DCL

We stayed in the same room on our first cruise and this was the closest to midship that they had available! It works we liked it so we went with it!

Why: We were supposed to go on the WB Repo Cruise, but with moving it was too much so we decided to do the special Itinerary in 2009. We flipped a coin on St. Croix and Tortola and well as you can see Tortola won. Also helped that we prefered the travel dates but the coin toss decided it!


I'd love to do a fish extender and if you could let me know how that works that would be great!

We did go down to Port Canaveral on Sunday the 21st of September. We watched the Wonder sail out to sea. It was the DVC member cruise and we had friends on board we waved to them at the port as we drove by it was a blast.

I miss DCL but only 8 more months to go !

I did send one in but it must have gotten lost. Great news Jeanne! I'm hoping to get your CD out this week! Hoping....

Not sure if you heard about Peter. It was only posted on the 9/1 thread. He was in an accident at work last week. He fell through a floor and broke 7 ribs. The last update he was still in the hospital, having lots of trouble standing on his own, had a bruised lung.
