May 20th 2006 Western Magic Cruise - Who's Going?

Hi we are cruising with you also. Myself, DH,DD(Cassidi) age 10 and DS(Austin) age 9. This is our 2nd Disney cruise,we are excited to go but I feel guilty pulling the kids out of school. We booked the Fury sail in Cozumel and the Stingray/Rum BCH in Grand Cayman also the pirate scavanger hunt in Keywest.Anyone else doing these excursions?

I booked the same excursion in Coz. It is at 12:30. I am still thinking that we won't be going there though. If we end up in Costa Maya, we will just go to the beach and relax. We booked through Native Way in GC. Island tour and Stingrays.
What cat. and deck are you guys on?

We are on deck 2 (cat 9)We booked in April 2005 and paid 3500. for the 4 of us I hope we go so we go to Cozumel so we can do the Fury sail and snorkel but not counting on it. We had the Royal swim scheduledin Cozumel but the park isn't opening till June so we scheduded another Western cruise for Dec 2007 so we can do the Royal swim I guess I'm determined to do it. I scheduled the stone massage too.Yeah!!!

We are on Deck 2 also (2108). We had the Royal Swim booked for DD and I and the Dolphin Encounter booked for DS and DH, but canceled both. I was bummed. I am just happy to be going though.

Yes I agree it was a real disappointment not being able to do the Royal swim considering thats why we choice the Western. Well I'm sure it we still be lots of fun anyway.

I just received an email from AA that our flight home has been changed. We were supposed to leave at 3pm. Now they have us departing at 11:50am. There goes our lunch in Downtown Disney. Do you guys think 11:50 will be cutting it close to get from the port to the airport?

Glad you came on over. My DD will be turning 9 on the 23rd of May, so maybe your DD and her will become friends. Where are you from?

It is a packet with info about excursions and whatnot. You should have gotten it about 2 months ago. It also had the date that you would be able to book Palo, excursions, spa appts., etc.

Well, I just checked cruisecal.com and it looks like the Magic will be going to Cozumel instead of Costa Maya. I was hoping we'd be going to Costa Maya as the ruins tour was so much shorter. I'm not sure what we'll do in Cozumel as I don't want to eat or drink anything in Mexico since we just returned from Puerto Vallarta and got very sick from something we ate. Of course, the port may change again as it has before.

Based on cruisecal.com, there are also going to be 3 other ships in Coz that same day. That is a lot of people to tender.
Hopefully, they will change it back to Costa Maya. Anyone heard anything about the April cruises? Maybe they will go to Coz in April and realize that the tendering is not good, and change ours back.
