May 2017-first time Aulani stay- question on flight packages

We are traveling in May 2017 to Oahu for our anniversary and family vacation. Breaking up the trip with some time in Waikiki and then ending with relaxation at Aulani. I have been watching flights and packages for air and rental cars on the travel sites. Anyone that can offer tips on booking through an online travel agency site? Rates seem much cheaper than directly through the airline. Is there a catch? One more question since I have your attention! Go Oahu Cards- good deal?

Thanks in advance for any help or tips! Not our first trip to Hawaii but the last was almost 15 years ago for our honeymoon! We are Disney fanatics and so looking forward to Aulani!!

I can only comment on the airline part of your question - book directly at the airline web site. No need for a TA or third party on that.

I would also book rental cars directly on their site. You may want to verify that the car rental company you pick has its cars at the airport, rather than needing to take a bus (with your luggage) to a remote lot.
