May 2014 rental car deals?

I don't think there is an official May 2014 rental car deals thread, so I decided to start one . We will be in WDW for a week before our Disney cruise next May and are hoping to get a rental car for a day or two for some offsite excursions . Please post any rental car deals that you find . Anyone see any good deals for a minivan for the middle of May? Prices seem to be super high this time.

I booked through EZ Car Rental for now. I got an economy car 5/3-5/13 for $253. I've never used them before but they are in the terminal. Last year through Costco I was able to get a car through Budget for $148 for 11 days. I'm hoping that I can match that price for my upcoming trip. I will keep checking the car rental sites and if I find anything better I will post it here.

I just booked through Alamo using the vroom vroom code [which is iffy to use] and the cheapest rate was a standard sports car for $180. total, 5/24 - 5/31. A sports car, isn't that hilarious . . . and fun.

We did this last summer, early June. We were able to get a Dodge Durango at Shades of Green [don't have to be military to rent car from there] for $151. total for nine full days. We took DME to our resort and the next day we went to MK in the morning. Around noon we left taking the resort monorail to the Poly and walked over to SOG. It was so easy and I would definitely do it again for that type of deal.

We got a minivan on Alamo using hotwire.com. The daily rate's $37.95 for 9 days and with taxes and other charges, the total's $478.65.

I have a National Midsize from 5/10 to 5/18 for 251.71. Will continue looking for a better price.

Looking for a deal too... Would love to pick up at the airport and drop off at a hotel near universal... Then we'll shuttle back to the airport when our trip is over
