Our travel agent applied our PIN code for us.
We finally got our pin code for the middle of May. DH gets codes all the time but we are never able to go. We were already planning a SWW trip so I'm VERY excited for this pin.
ok, this will be my first time using a pin. Can I only use it through Disney or can I use a travel agent like Dreams Unlimited? Should I book as soon as possible? Is it possible that a better deal will come out or are pin codes usually the best deal?
Sorry for all the questions. I'm really excited.

We got a pin in the mail today for discount room rates or the Disney dining plan. Unfortunately it's not valid at the Art of Animation resort which is where we were hoping to stay. Boo.![]()

It says valid most days January 3 through May 5, 2014
Thanks for posting! Those are the same dates that were included in my pin. Boy, do I wish that I could use them for our May dates. It would save us $2,000 since we are staying for two weeks.
can i use the pin code my wife was emailed and make a reservation in my name
Just booked my May trip. Booked@rack rate and just waiting for some type of discount down the road. Fingers crossed.
What are the dates for free dining for May? Is there pin codes for that, I usually get so many pin codes this year only getting ones for this fall ughh
Does the pin codes for May exclude aoa little mermaid rooms
Hi there
this might sound so stupid but what are pins and how does somebody get them? We are planning our trip from may 29-june 8 and we are looking And hoping for discounts!
mickeystoontown said:Not a stupid question at all. I had no idea what pins were until several years ago. Pin codes are special offers that are randomly sent out by Disney's marketing department. They are supposed to be sent via email or snail mail. However, I know for a fact, that someone can have a pin code and never know it. It's happened to both my daughter and my mother.
In order to increase your chances of receiving a pin code, make sure that you are registered on the Disney site and ask that you receive notifications from them. Some believe that ordering the vacation planning DVD increases your chances. Having said all that, I have been registered on their site for many many years and have been to Disney 19 times and have received one, count 'em, one pin code over all those years.
I'd suggest that you keep an eye on the Disboards and on this thread. If anyone gets wind of an upcoming general public offer, they'll post it here.
