We are planning on going April 30th - May 7th. I originally was going to rent DVC points, but I'm afraid it wouldn't be worth my constant worrying that we are getting scammed. I'd rather pay for a nice room and have the peace of mind. But, I am praying for a code - that would be excellent!!!

New to the board here, and hopefully planning a May 2011 trip for my wife, daughter and I. My daughter will be 2 and it will be her first trip. A discount/PIN would certainly make the decision a lot easier!

We are looking at the beginning of May for our first trip to WDW. It will be me, my dh and our two dd (15 & 7). I had posted on the April thread but now that someone has done a May thread, here we are! (Thanks!)

We are also hoping for some discounts. Right now I am anxiously waiting for August and the new 2011 rates to be posted.

I have read that some people have booked their room-only ressies already. How do you do that? I tried online and it would not take the 2011 dates! UGH! Nope..not anxious at all here...

After my very first WDW Trip in May of this year and then visiting Tokyo Disneyland I thought that my mom and younger brothers would love to go to WDW in May 2011. So that's what we're planning. Go for my mother's birthday and Star Wars Weekend! Be nice to apply some discounts of some sort!

Going with my hubby and twin sons May 8-13th. It will be our first trip and we'll be there for the boys' 4th birthday.

Going May 8th-20th. Haven't been to disney since 2000. I have been planning for the last 3 months. DS is so excited and he is 28. I don't know which one of us is more excited. Also bring along a newbie. she has never been to disney. I am hoping for some sort of discount. Would like a room only because we are driving from michigan and will be bringing a cooler with us and buying food outside of disney for some of our meals then heating them up in the food court.

I'll join this thread. Planning on going down from May 13th - May 22nd or 23rd. Hoping for some type of offer from Disney. Priced everything out and WOW that's a lot of money. A pin, free dining, some type of discount would be nice!

I read that disney has released the room rates for 2011. Does anyone have room prices for May?? From what I understand, you can only get the quote by calling. Here's to hoping they update their webpage soon!!!

I would love to know room rates. I've heard lots of rumors that park tickets are going up.

I did call for rates May 21st-29th

Pop standard view $995.65, preferred view $1165.00

CBR, Port Orleans and Coronado Springs were $1656.00 for standard views

Are those regular rack rates? I just called and was quoted something outrageous for the dates of May 13th - May 23rd staying at CSR with a King Bed. I know that packages for 2011 have not been released yet.

So I got a pin today! MY first ever! WHOO HOO! Of course, its only good until Dec 2010 and we can't go any earlier than May 2011. What are the chances that another one will come my way??
