Nope! We don't have a May thread yet (but you can always check the Meet sticky at the top of the page to see which Check-In threads are currently active). We have January, February, March, October and December covered. And someone started July the other day.

We need volunteers to take on April, June, August, September and November!

Whomever starts the September thread will get a link to the thread posted in the Halloween Time at DLR Superthread - Page 1, and whomever starts the November thread will get a link added in the Christmas Superthread, Page 1.

The key to these Check-In threads is organization (and maintenance). There have been many threads in the past that didn't have any kind of a working list for people to reference. So people were posting, "I'm going on X date," and the pages grew, but since there was no list it was hard to tell who was going when unless they scrolled through all the pages. Or, several different people were trying to update the list and some versions of it left out some names. Some Check-In threads were abandoned entirely!

So this will be the official May thread, and I will add it to the Meet sticky at the top of the page!!

May 7th-13th, 2 bdr. DVC Villa. We are hoping that they are going to have the Mothers Day Buffet at the DLH this year as we have enjoyed that event twice in the past. May is the most beautiful month at DL in my opinion.

We're planning on being in the parks May 17-20 and have reservations at Desert Inn and Suites. We'll have quite a few in our group, me, DH, DD6, DD4, my parents, my sister, her BF, and possibly my BFF from high school (she's a local there now).

May 18-24 - VGC. We'll be there having fun with the in-laws.

What are the crowds like in mid May, anyone know? We usually go in Sept. when crowds are low-ish, but we always seem to catch a cold/sore throat at the peak of our trip. (Airplane stale air!! ) Anyway, May seems to be less of a cold/flu season so appeals to me, but can anyone tell me what the crowds will be like? Thanks!!

We will be at HOJO April 30th - May 4...our second time at HOJO and excited to go back! It will be me, DS 4, DD 10, grandma and hopefully DH if he can get work off!

I am not able to answer this as we always go in September/October as well. This will be our first May trip. It wasn my sister -in-laws choice as she has heard that the crowds are low this time of year. Will it be true? I have no idea. I look forward to finding out!!

I have a little princess of my own and then my neice and her two brothers are coming with their parents. The kids just don't know about it yet!! It is my in-laws first visit to DLR and we are surpirsing the kids (my DD included). It will be a great surprise!!!!

Me, DH, and DD (7) are going May 3-6 staying at GCH! We're pulling DD out of school for an early b-day present (and avoiding the weekend crowds!). While DD and I have been twice in the past few years, DH hasn't been to DL since before CA Adventure was built. Soooooo excited!!!

We are going May 7-12 for the first time. NOt sure if we are staying at gch, or dlh. It will be me, my dh and dd8 and dd6. DD8, will be turning 9 while we are there, so we are planning lots of fun special stuff. I have learned a lot from reading this board, and my plan keeps changing as I do more research.
We are super excited though, can't wait.
