May 2010 Trips!

Hello!

We will be arriving 5/12 (late) and leaving 5/15, staying at Camelot Inn & Suites. It will be DH's 1st trip and the first trip where we have to buy DS a ticket.

Going in late May this year because of my children's school schedule, but have been in early May before and loved it! The crowds were very low weekday and easily manageable on weekends. As to weather, it's typically beautiful in May.. highs in the mid 70s and lows in the 50s. It rarely rains in May, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about that either.

I can't believe we will be in the parks 3 weeks from today! I hope the weather and crowds are like Mom2micayla says they have been in the past. That sounds perfect. Now if only BTMRR would be open when we go. Boo!

I am trying to figure out something special to do for our anniversary. I was thinking of a basket or something being delivered to our room at HOJO, but there are really no anniversary baskets; only wedding ones. I know we can customize a basket, but I just don't know what to have put in it and to not break the bank either. I also want it to be surprise for DH.

Any ideas?

I planned a surprise trip for my Wife & son for their FIRST Trip to Disneyland! We're spending just one day at Disneyland - staying at the Ramada Maingate....can't wait! Using our Volunteer Vouchers!

I forgot to mention I'm staying at the DLR hotel. The prices are so great right now. I almost went got GCH but I've 3 more grandchildren to take on their birthdays and it gets expensive.

Please add us? Just found out yesterday on my 19th anniversary, my husband said "go ahead and book our Southern California tickets"! Those were the best words I've heard him speak all year long!

We will be there from 5/21-6/3, not all at DL. Staying at the Fairfield when we go to DL, not sure where we will be the rest of the time yet! We will do the "buy 3, get 2 free" for sure, but our kids want to venture out and do some other fun things! We may even do a side trip to Vegas! Whoo hoo!! Our kids are 17 & 14, so if anyone has teens, ours are willing and ready to meet up with yours! They are good kids who love to laugh and have a great time and will stay at the parks as long as they can...they loved Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and lots more! PM me if you want to introduce them in advance via email or FB!

We'll be going May 4th through the 7th staying at the Hojo.

Time is flying and I need to make PS's! Yikes!

Hows everyone doing planning/shopping wise? I am finalizing my pretrip shopping list and am doing pretty well..

I have done no shopping. Work has been crazy and because of our schedules, DH and I get one day a week off together. We have started thinking about what breakfast foods to get, but as far as things that we need to get to pack, I haven't even thought about that. There is just so much going on with work right now with STAR testing, a field trip next Friday, and preparing to go off track at the end of the month. Our trip will be a much needed vacation!
At least I made all (well both) our PS and we decided that we would probably leave around 5:00 the morning of our trip. That is the extent of my planning at this point, and like disneylovingfamily:4, we leave in 18 days!!!!!!!

ETA: We are up to 70 DISers on our list now!
