May 2010 Trips!

Look at how long the list is becoming! We are leaving in exactly 6 weeks and I have yet to book any reservations. We are probably going to do a 5:00 at CO for the Sunday we arrive for our anniversary Monte Cristo. Then I also want to do breakfast at Carnation, but don't know which day yet. It will be a late breakfast unless they can do one before park opening within the 30 minutes when the let guests in.
I have just been so busy during the week that I don't get the chance to call!

jseargent and dizneedoll, I just finally updated you. I have been so busy with work lately that I have been unable to get on the computer. Ugg. Well, only 37 days until vacation!

We will be there May 5th - 9th for my daughter's first trip to Disneyland. We are staying at the Carousel Inn.

I'm going again, (third trip this year), on May 24th this time with my oldest grandson. He will be 10.

We are going to be there May 15-19th. Staying at Quality Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort! Celebrating my birthday on 5/17!

I'm taking a short trip May 23-24 while I'm in the area touring universities with my oldest daughter.

Going to DL May 15 -22 Newport Beach Marriott. We have a 2 bdr timeshare. We are looking for another couple would would like to stay. Just let us know and we can work out the details.

going may 25-29 and staying at the grand californian. im going to celebrate graduating from college! this will be my first time to DL i've been to disney world over 20 times and ready to see the original!!

You do realize that you will be there during Memorial Day week-end? It will be very busy. Try to get there as early as possible and do the popular rides first.

We were there for a week over Memorial Day in 2008 and the crowds weren't bad at all. It was actually so nice that we're going again the week before Memorial Day this year. With the World of Color show looking like it's going to open in June, I'm very optimistic.

My hotel plans have changed a little-----we are still staying 2 nights @ Hojo's, (and 1 night in Vegas) BUT we are spending the last 5 nights at......
THE GRAND CALIFORNIAN HOTEL!!!
Absolutly excited, just happy to be on-site for the first time, fully immersed in the Disney experience, without having to cross Harbour

We are 4 weeks out from today! I made our dining reservations yesterday and the lady made a note of our anniversary on each reservation: Cafe Orleans for the 2nd for dinner and Carnation Cafe the morning of the 4th for breakfast! She made sure we were going to City Hall to get our anniversary buttons when we arrive. I said of course! I am getting so excited!!!
Oh and I considered switching to PPH because of AP rates, but decided it wasn't worth $400 more for a standard room at PPH vs a view room at HOJO. Convince me that I am right. We haven't stayed at HOJO before.
