We just booked the Pirates & Pals cruise yesterday for 5/23!! Can't wait to try it! DD7 is super excited...she loves the boats at WDW.

I'm ready to start packing, but I think DH would think I was completely crazy if I did.

I forgot! I went out the other day and got the new Kingdom Keepers book to get me in the Disney mood!

Tomorrow will be our 3 week mark!! I just booked this trip Wednesday so it was last minute! Got a Pin for the dining code so I couldn't pass it up. I upgraded to the dining plan and even got a few of the restaurants I wanted at times I wanted.

Once it gets here is it a downer after all the anticipation. I was excited for a trip a few years ago, but then as we landed the excitement was gone because the anticipation was over. I know we have a great time, but worried that it won't be as exciting as the planning and anticipation. We booked our hotel over year ago, and paid for the package a couple months ago, so this has been along time coming and a lot of anticipation.


Am I nuts? Does anyone understand this or go through the same thing?

I do understand it. This is my family's first trip and I think I have spent so much time planning for it, I am scared once I get there it won't be as good as I am building it up to be in my mind.

This is the most planning I have ever done for a vacation, Even my planned Las Vegas wedding did not take this much planning!! It is like a part-time job and add the DIS to that and I spend way too much time thinking about Disney World!!

30 days? Sure you can start packing!! It is never too early to start.

13 days for us I have started to pack toiletries & such but will start with some clothes this week. (They are still upstairs with all my summer clothes).
