So our next trip was booked today!!! So it will be me and my 2 boys (7 and 20 mths) my sister and my niece (6) and my mom. What will the weather and crowds be like the first week in May?

And has anyone done the walking in walt's footsteps tour? How was it and could the older kids do it?

Our very first trip was done the first week of May, almost three years ago.

I did quite a bit of research before choosing this time and found that it was right after spring break, but before school got out in most areas. We found the weather to be perfect, not too hot at all. And the crowds were minimal.

We also just went this past October and will probably never do that again. Way too crowded with all the festivities.

We have opted on going again April 22-26th this year. :goodvibes

Hi LittleLambie - we are also going in May so hopefully it will be great!!!

I started a thread a couple of days ago about people's opinions on the Walking in Walt's Footsteps tour asking very similar questions to yours including is it suitable for kids (our DD will be 12 at the time).

Most feedback I have read so far has been positive but please see the thread for further details. Here is the link:

Beginning of May is nice, the weather is good and crowds are lower than peak summer season. There may be some things closed for refurbishment but you should have a great time.
