My best friend is planning on getting married in WDW next May so I definitely need a code as we are going this Dec so a May trip was not in the plans at all. I just bought an ap figuring we would go next Nov but May is my favorite time there so here's wishing for a code!!

I booked through Disney. We booked room only, which can be done through AAA or Disney, but if you want a package you have to book through AAA. Disney's room only rate was actually about $40 less (total, not per night) than AAA's room only quote. I don't know why it worked out that way since they quoted the same discount, taxes, and fees...but I'm not arguing.

If memory serves, the discounts were 10% on deluxe and 15% on mod and cabins for the part of May that we are going. I don't know about values because we weren't looking for them. I think the discount was more than worth the cost of joining AAA. There are often limited quantities of AAA eligible rooms, so definitely jump on it as soon as possible if you choose to go that way.

I paid $10 a point. That seems rare for BCV though. I typically see $11-$13 a point for that resort.
