May 2008 Waitlist Thread

You were right, Aunt Michelle...wow...wow...WOW!!! Just checked dvcmember.com and our waitlist for May 1st, BWV 1-bedroom standard came through! I am jumpin' for joy!

Thanks for all the good DIS vibes and here's wishing everyone waitlisted some extra pixie dust!

Whoo hoo! I'm so glad it came through for you! I am fortunate to have had really good luck with waitlists so I try to stay positive.

I'm taking a short trip with DH May 5th through the 8th. I've got BWV preferred view right now ( studio ) I'm on a wait list for Boardwalk view or AKL Savannah view.

My waitlist came through. I now have BWV Boardwalk view!

Our waitlist came through for our last night at BWV 5/22, preferred view. I'm trying to decide now if I want to re-wailtlist for a boardwalk view. Decisions, decisions.

We currently have a Savannah View Studio booked for AKV Sept 21 - 25, and are on the waitlist to upgrade to Club Level. No luck yet.

We are at SSR April 27 thru May 2. I am waitlised for a 2 bedroom at AKL (partial or entire visit) for both Savanna view and Concierge level. I may add partial / complete visit waitlists for VWL and BCV.

I posted on a separate thread but keep your hopes up. I had a partial WL for VWL come through this week so we are at VWL from the 27th through the 29th. The remainder of the trip is still at SSR but I am waitlisted for AKV or BCV. If they don't happen we are still happy and have confidence in the WL system.

Since you are already using preferred view points, I say go for the Boardwalk View. Even if it does not come thru, you're still at the BEST DVC property at WDW (IMHO...he-he-he!)
