May 2007 TR

Then we get to the EAC. Awesome, dude! radical, knarly, and any other number of surfer-dude adjectives! Crush and the little dude (name, anybody??) were with Nemo, and they were riding the EAC.

The little dude's name is "Squirt"... :cutie:
And, your report is still awesome. Can't wait for more!!

You are a princess after my own heart. I am taking a 10 inch doll named Ann Estelle to WDW in just a few weeks. I intend to photograph her with the characters and in spots all over WDW. Then I am going to scrap her pictures and take the scrapbook (and Ann Estelle) to school with me in the fall.

The kicker--I'm 62 years old and I'm the teacher!:lmao:

Princess Amy...yeah...I know I never post pics of my face b/c I'm not allowed (again, moms trump snobs)...So you guys are going to have to settle for the back of my head...sorry...but hey--my hair generally looks pretty good. jk ;)

Tell Mom I don't feel comfortable posting my children's faces on the internet, either. Too many weirdos out there.... :sad2:

It kills me; I really, really want to share them with my DIS-friends!

I loved your pics of the Garden Grill! That looks like something my DD would do! :goodvibes We have lunch ADRs for our next trip and I'm looking forward to seeing the characters in their farmer clothes!

I begged and pleaded to jump on Spaceship Earth to play SSE Roulette, but we had promises to keep and many miles to go before we sleep…errr eat…

Heheheh. I'm glad the game got some recognition, but I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to play it!

When Chip and Dale came along, I showed them my shirt and they both gave me BIG hugs.

Woot! I knew it!! I knew the 'munks would go nuts (pardon the bad pun) over your shirt!

But here's what I do know: I played the Missions Space Race game as Mission Control.

And here's another thing: I rock at that game.

I mean totally rock. As in, more than I rock at Buzz. I can get those fixes up in the blink of an eye. My all-time best score in 32 fixes in one game.

If anybody has gotten more than that, tell me. Because you're either a lier, a cheater, or an alien with mad skills. And since DISers don't lie or cheat, you must be an alien. And I'd love to meet an alien. :thumbsup2

I only played one game. Our team (Triton) lost, but it's totally rigged, so my mad fixing skills weren't of much use. In fact, my skills may never be of much use, because I'm pretty sure that the REAL "fixes" up at NASA mission control involve more than pressing brightly-colored, well-themed buttons.

oh well.

That's because I wasn't one of the players up front on your team. ;)
I found my niche being one of the standing players, and I do remember having some really good fixers on my team. :goodvibes

Walked through Canada -- no princesses to see there.
Walked through England -- stopped in the toy store, but it was just Pooh & friends...darn
Walked through France-- stopped up in Belle's library and in the gardens, no princesses to be found -- got a mask, loitered as long as I could, but nobody came out...darn
Walked through Morocco -- stopped back in the shops, but no Aladdin or pals...darn

By now it was around 7, and I'm pretty sure there are absolutely no characters out after 7, so I headed back to Mexico to meet everybody. We had one last ride to ride before we went back to the Poly and crashed for the night...

I hate to be Captain Obvious, but Princesses don't tend to meet and greet that late. :rolleyes1 You must have bad princess timing karma. Hope it swings the other way soon!

Fun read. popcorn::

AGPrincessI quoted: "I know what you mean about the are-we-there-yet trip-report-induced syndrome! Whenever I read other TR's (or pre-TR's!) I'm always thinking "ooo! we should do that next time!" or "I cannot WAIT until I get to try that." lol"

Yeah, I feel like such a little kid... "are we there yet? are we there yet? ARE WE THERE YET?!!!" As I drive everyone around me nuts! <sigh> And then there's the problem of getting too many ideas from TRs of things to try that I can't fit them all into one trip, which inevitably leads to "having" to plan future trips. What a dilemma to have! :cool1:

loved the update and want more!!! Just keep writing just keep writing, what do you do, you write, write, write.

Am I first? Am I first?

Let me start by saying:

Josh is a complete and utter tool. And not in the useful variety, if
you know what I mean! Ugh. I already hate the guy.

But hooray for little sisters who clean kitchens for older sibling's apartments!
(Heheh. I've been there, too!) And wow, porch railing jumping skillz, too?

You're a Renaissance Woman. ;)

And yes, Earl of Sandwich is one of the yummier offerings at Downtown Disney.

Thanks for writing an entertaining trip report. You make housecleaning sound
interesting, and that takes talent. :thumbsup2

“I just look fabulous…”

Oh yes you do, Nicki!!
Minnie's got nothing on you, girl!!

Tricia (DD) and I really enjoyed your AG photo shoot!

Guess what? I just found out that my hubby and I will be staying at The Poly for Marathon Weekend in January!!

I'm absorbed in your pictures because I know that I will be there someday! :cloud9:

You are a great sister... imagine... cleaning his kitchen for him...lucky guy!

Kathy

another great report
thanks

Amen, sista !!! Can I getta witness......WHOOP-WOO ~~~ :thumbsup2

If this guy had been around when I worked there, I would have written up his *** by the end of the first week. Please tell me he's no longer there :rolleyes1

I am already picturing my son moving into Disney apartments for the CP. Now all I have to do is get him to agree to it. He plans on joining the Coast Guard but I said to him "Dear, darling son of mine, the Coast Guard cannot give your family a huge Disney discount now can they?"

Nice update!

Wow, can't wait to read more about Josh and the roomies!! :)
Nikki looked fabulous in her pictures! :-)

DAY 5: Behind the Scenes at: the College Program

Now. I want anybody who’s going to be going to the college program to listen up! (Erin (badktty), this means you!)

I got an honorable mention!!! Sweet! :thumbsup2

CP LESSONS:

-get to check-in early, b/c then you get to your apartment earlier & you get to pick the best room!
Yep! I'll get to The World sometime the day before my check-in...and you can bet I will be up at the crack of dawn to have first dibs at that apartment!

-bring your family (or at least parents) to check-in, because there are lots of other families there!
My BFF will just have to substitute for family. She knows that she will be used as free labor but she doesn't know that she will be my "sister" for the day...LOL

-be ready for a little conflict (especially if you get a roommate like Josh!)
Ugh!!!! What an idiot...asking (no, making) people he doesn't even know to provide food for him?! That doesn't fly with me. Thankfully, I already know the person I will be sharing my room with...and I thank God every day for her. :goodvibes However, if someone like this guy ends up in my apartment, I will just scream. I refuse to have a repeat of my dorm situation...LOL

I'm too lazy to go to the beginning of your thread, but I think you said your mom packs suitcase by resort. If y'all stay at three different resorts, it makes perfect sense why she would go to the trouble. :thumbsup2

Reading your post makes me wish I had a hammock. I can't wait to read about Dart's birthday or find out what job your older brother ended up getting.
